Adding author of forewords as author ?

According to GR Principles, should authors of forewords be encoded as author ? One GR Librarian argues that it is not the case. I think it should, in particular when the author of the foreword is credited on the cover and is a well know personality.

Please advise.

Yes, authors of forewords may be added.

The only contributors we do not add are (off the top of my head) cover designers (they may be added to the description) and copy editors.
