Quarterly Read-a-thon-Friday Dec 5th - Sunday Dec 7th INCL
So far I have read 112 pages - finished Force of Nature. It is #11 in the series and a great read with heart stopping action and lots of romance (both Male/Female and Male/Male). I love this Troubleshooters series by Suzanne Brockmann.
Day one of the read-a-thon is almost over...well done to those of you who have managed some pages! Enjoy the next two days of reading and especially those who are off work tomorrow and Sunday - relax, put your feet up and read!
Managed 223 pages today. Not sure how much time I'll get to read over the weekend as I've got a couple of things on and a few pre-Christmas chores to get done but will aim to at least double that :)
I have read another 406 pages to make a total of 695 pages read. It was nice to have a the day off work.
Finished Meritropolis, had started before today though, so can only count 70%. A total of 171 pages for me
I've managed 421 pages today. Started and finished a Patricia Cornwell novel From Potter's Field, which was an easy read. It was quite enjoyable, though that Kay Scarpetta character - she's a piece of work ain't she? Continuing with my slow read - a serious, fascinating non-fiction book tonight: Bury the Chains: Prophets and Rebels in the Fight to Free an Empire's Slaves by Adam Hochschild. Will start something a bit lighter tomorrow, Day 2 of the Read-a-thon!

Yesterday, started and finished
Brilliant book! can't imagine why it has taken me so long to read it. Thats 294 pages. Have got 160 into my new book The Darkest Hour ... and counting....
Another 291 pages completed, with the reading of the very moving memoir, Mister Owita's Guide to Gardening by Carol Wall. 5★s and lots of Kleenex.
Yes I spent most of the day reading and it was easy reading. Might have to do my housework tomorrow though seeing as I didn't do any today :)

Maybe you should leave the housework until Monday so you can read again all day;)

Oops. I had forgotten about the read-a-thon. Yesterday I read 93 pages on the bus to and from the city. My sister is down from Qld for the weekend so it will be a light reading weekend for me.
Oh my goodness I'm too slow to update! Yesterday's total pages for me is 167. I will enter today's tally at the end of the night :)
I started and finished Skipping Christmas today. Another 177 pages to my total, taking it up to 348.About to start Time Will Tell

I've just joined this group so I probably won't be able to add much to the amount of pages but you can count me in!!
Only got to read 105 pages of my book Forbidden Fruit today but I did listen to 90 pages of The Slow Regard of Silent Things by Patrick Rothfuss while making jam this afternoon bringing it up to 195 pages and a total of 418 so far for the weekend.
Finished reading The Ugly Man (Short Story) A Dani Lancing Story by P.D. Viner for 116 pages bring total so far to 235.
I'm 145 pages into The Weight of Silence or my version of the book "Behind the Silence" and finding it an easy and enjoyable read. Hoping every little bit helps :)
I finished Earthly Delights by Kerry Greenwood for 305 pages..will put in my final weekend total tonight.
Will start Mr Wigg by Inga Simpson next:)

Savour it Brenda :))
I'm doing poorly in this challenge at the moment. Was at work all day yesterday and fell asleep almost straight away last night and have been ironing this morning. I'm embarrassed to say my contribution will be small this time round but I won't post until tonight as I may get some time after the 70th lunch to do more reading.
Don't worry Elaine:) Your contribution may just take it over the line!!! As long as everyone enjoys their weekend of reading and having fun, that's the main thing:)
