Ruth Ann (moodygrl00) | 98 comments I also had to change a few books to fit from what was available digitally from my library. Good luck!

Simon Hi All!

Can someone recommend a good historical fiction novel set in New Zealand?

Am trying to do my own historical fiction “Trip Around the World”.

So far I’ve been to:

Russia
Ireland
France
North/South Carolina

Also, am currently reading “Meet me in Monaco”. Once done, do I count is as Grance or Monaco or both?

Thanks!

I really liked Green Dolphin Street by Elizabeth Goudge, although it's apparently not that historically accurate.

I haven't yet read The Colour by Rose Tremain, but it's been on my TBR for a while.

Wanda (wanda71) In the challenge rules you have Time Periods as Level 2 but then when you set up the example you have authors as Level 2. Which one do we follow?

The format in the rules.

I'm not really sure how I missed that over six months into the year.

Carol | 84 comments Just wanted to say THANK YOU for organising this challenge. I really enjoyed being part of it, and felt it made reading, which is often quite a solitary pursuit, feel like an achievement and a shared pleasure. Really looking forward to new challenges in 2021. Thanks for the time, effort and enthusiasm in making this happen. 😊

So glad you enjoyed it. Funny you mention 2021 challenges. Gretchen and I are discussing those now.

Nancy Kaseta | 47 comments I loved the around the world challenge as well! I’ve always enjoyed finding new authors from other counties in which English is not the first language. Amazon does this occasionally highlighting foreign authors. Found some of my favorites this way!!

Donna (drspoon) | 32 comments I also enjoyed this challenge and the books I read for it.
