Thanks

Though called a novel in some places it's cited as non-fiction and memoir in many sources, OK
It does have genre children- it needs AR BookFinder verification

yes, non-fiction and the author's experience

Catie | 185 comments Would you verify How To Be a Heroine as acceptable? The main page genres include "autobiography" and "memoir", but the description of the book doesn't really do justice to how much of the book is about the author - each heroine she examines links to the portion of her life story that's being told, and the book is full of anecdotes and stories from the author's life.
