Rowan or Aedion because they are both handsome and 100% loyal or solo, i hate chaol, he's an idiot and dorian with sorscha.. it was too much for me. she has a fu*ing male fanclub or harem Dorian is my first pick. And then would be Rowan. Anyone but Chaol.
I am so shocked Sarah J. Maas would even make him a love interest. It made no sense. The Chaol and Celaena romance also might have been my least favorite moments.

I totally get what you are saying, and I think a lot of it is valid. But, I don't know that Maas is going to make it that simple for us. Also, I don't know that Celaena, even if she has ties to be a ruler, would 1) actually want to rule and 2) actually be a good ruler of people. Considering her past, a lot of political leaders would not want a past assassin to be ruling over them. In that way she would be no better than the current king. And as she says in CoM, she desires to be a "normal" girl. Being with Dorian wouldn't really give her a chance at that. But again, that might be too simple an answer, and Celaena might have to rule whether she enjoys that life or not. "

Oh my god I've only read the first grisha! Now j am in a state of terrible confusion/drive to read the others as quickly as possible!
I am in love with Rowan, but what makes him great is that they aren't romantic about it. I feel like i used to ship her and Chaol because he can't come to accept all of her. I think that someone new might show up and take the prize but right now i am for Rowan if somehow they get over the 200 year difference... I can't handle these books.

Chaol. It has to be Chaol.He loves her and sacrificed so much for her even though he can't fully accept her true identity but that can't happen overnight. He's only human so of course he'll make mistakes.
It's either Chaol and Celeana or she remains alone.
Actually, to be totally honest, I think none of them. I originally wanted Rowan but I am starting to see that they are better as best friends and being loyal to each other without making things awkward. Dorian was just a fling in the beginning really and now that he was with Sorscha and what has happened... They just don't really fit. They've moved on I think. Chaol, oh Chaol. You lost me, man. I loved them together in book 2 but at the end I did not like him as much and then Rowan came along and completely obliterated any chance of me wanting Chaol back in the picture. He represents a bad time in her life and I don't think Celeana can take remembering Nehemia and all the confusion of her past. Also, she has moved on. Accepted being Queen and air to a magnificent throne whereas Chaol can't accept her for who she is. Aedion... just, no. Don't even try to tell me they would fit because he is her actual cousin and they were besties when they were young and just... no.
Rowan *sigh* I love you so much and if I had to pick, it would be you. They all just seem wrong for her.

Rowan most definitely.I mean, I thought Chaol was the one for her, him being captain of guard and stuff, I thought he's be able to understand her better since he'd been exposed to the same kind of violence that she had being an assasin. I thought Chaol would be alright with who she really was, rather than Dorian, who is a prince.
But it seems Chaol would rather have a tough girl who doesn't have her past. And he'd never killed anyone before Cain, which means he can't understand her completely.
Rowan is a warrior, he's been hardened and honed. And he would do anything for her, and if they were to rule a kingdom together, which we know they will regardless of whether they end up romantically or not, it would be amazing. He's LITERALLY the ying to her yang. THEY HAVE MATCHING TATTOOS. He said she was her way out of the dark place he was in after Lyria's death, and he is the only one who knows her completely.
And he calls her Aelin, because that's who she is. Which is hella romantic. <3
Chaol all the way I mean Rowan is great and all but guys he's like 1000 years old okay and they just have a great platonic friendship and I don't want any romance between them.
Chaol admit in HoF that he could never really come to terms with who Celaena actually is (an assassin AND a queen). It's like he was trying to fit her into this perfect mold of who he wanted her to be and that's not right. Like Dorian said, he can't pick and choose the parts of her that he loves. I really was rooting for him in ToG and most of CoM, but that all changed at the end of CoM. I'd rather Celaena end up alone than be with Chaol at this point. And after HoF I'll ship her with Rowan until the end of the series no matter what happens. He knows her and loves her for everything she truly is and that just makes my heart leap with joy. She deserves someone who knows her inside and out and doesn't judge her for her past.

Personally, I don't really see Rowan & Celeana/Aelin's relationship as particularly romantic. I guess you could see it that way but I feel like it would be better if Rowan ended up as the overprotective bestfriend/brother kind. It kinda feels weird and not right to me if they ended up romantically involved. CHAOLENA all the way. Chaol would eventually accept all parts of her, the power of love will prevail. Plus I don't think Celeana thinks of Rowan romantically, if I'm not mistaken it was mentioned in HOF.

Chaol does accept Celeana its just I think he feels insecure about it because he says that Celeana will choose him but Aelin might not and Celeana is having the same insecurities as well when she was talking to Rowan about it and that breaks my heart but I believe they will figure it out. Chaolena will prevail
Sad as I am to admit it Rowan probebly will replace Chaol because their are so many scenes in HoF that are so simerler to the first two.

Rowan, because Aedion is related to her ew. Chaol and her are over. Dorian managed to move on so him and Celaena are way over. Rowan is the only one who knows every last part of Celaena and ACCEPTS HER for who she is. Assassin, Fae, whatever because Rowan can relate (Chaol only loves certain parts of her). also, they are carranum right? That comes from the word soulmate in irish/gaelic. Sarah confirmed that to a fan on twitter. Also, with all the ways that Rowan and Celaena are bonded, why would any other guy get in the way of that?

Maybe because Chaol even said himself that he has always had a difficult time accepting that she's an assassin, and he's having an even more difficult time coming to terms with her being Fae AND Aelin. That's why he probably doesn't deserve her anymore. At this point she deserves someone who accepts her for who she completely is and not just the parts of her he thinks are great. Dorian did say it best: "You can't pick and choose which parts of her to love". Maybe he will learn, but it's too late for them. They hit their peak in CoM. Is it sad? Yeah, because when they were good they were really cute, but they've both acknowledged that they have to move on (and Celaena already has; remember, she took off the amethyst ring). Or she could just be alone. Idc. She doesn't NEED any man.

She said she'd always pick him before she went to Wendlyn and decided she was going back to Adarlan as Aelin. He even realized in HoF that she's not coming back as the Celaena he knows. She's not going back for him. And he has such problems with her being an assassin and a Fae. He may come to terms with it but Chaol needs a girl who needs him. He wants to feel important and needed. Aelin can't give that to him. She doesn't need anyone, she's so badass. I don't dislike Chaol as an individual character, he has some good qualities, but they hit their peak. If they got back together it would be character regression, and boring.
I just feel the need to stress the fact that Aedion is her first cousin, but Rowan is not - his relation to her is quite distant.
I agree with The Book Addict.Rowan is far removed, by at least 4 generations plus Aelin's bloodline has been further watered down by the mixing of non-fey blood. Everyone is free to think as they wish but incest it is not.
Rowan will lose his immortality if he ends up with Aelin, won't he? Like Mab did when she chose the mortal prince.

I hope that Celaena will be able to become immortal instead of Rowan losing his immortality. Or, it would be really sweet if Rowan decides to give up his immortality for Celaena.

I feel like Chaol is still going to be in love with Celaena (if she ends up with Rowan. If you have the hardback book, look on page 84. It says,"Mate-not husband. The Fae had mates: an unbreakable bond, deeper than marriage, that lasted beyond death." Rowan already had his mate, she was pregnant too. So, it is obviously going to be Chaol.

Dorian all the way.He has gone through something similar to Celeana with losing a loved oneHe needs to be saved.He still loves her and I believe they will become closer. Plus they are perfect she is fire Queen he is ice king...and he was not disgusted when he found out she was fae but welcomed her Celorian!!!!!!!!!!
