I liked Chaol, then got annoyed with him, but by Tower of Dawn, I definitely liked him again. Some people just really didn't want to read a book with him as the main character which I thought was unfair.




He ruined my first ship of Dorian x Celaena.
His attitude in QoS worsened my opinion.
I was not happy that he was a main character in ToD. Not to mention the way he interrupted a royal business meeting to mention the fire arms the pirate captain ordered...I found that kind of embarrassing.

I actually like Sam. He was kind of cute both in looks and personality. It was kinda sweet, minus the fact that he was an assassin and could kill with his bare hands.

Definitely. I didn't mind her but yes, she did feel like a convenient plot point rather than a real person.

Dorian, I found, was most annoying in Kingdom of Ash, I think. I haven't reread KofA just yet so I haven't solidified any of my feelings from that book just yet hahah
