Introducing myself

Glad to join in, and thanks to the Mods for carving out a nook (no, not the eReader) for authors. I am a big time (or is it long time? Hmm) thriller lover and reader. Over the past decade (yes, I'm "mature") I've also written mystery-thriller-suspense stories with a strong (or so I've convinced myself) character-driven component. They may also have a spy or two in them. This year (starting in April), I started publishing the ones that said "I'm ready" as eBooks.

I look forward to chatting with you about all the great stories out there we can share and enjoy together. In my "off" time ;-) I'll continue to work on my two book series: Our Cyber World and Tracking Jane . For each of these series, I've made the series starter/intro eBook permafree, so grab one while supplies last!

Say, did you see me 'get the boot' from Ron's group? The nerve of that guy! I quizzed him on his action and he had no answer. Seems to have just been an arbitrary bee-in-his-bonnet.

He is consequently banned from this group and will never be allowed to promote his titles here. But other than things like this--there are no 'heavy-handed measures' here. No one is banned for minuscule or petty reasons in 'Spy Spec-ops'.

Anyway--when that blade came down on my neck--I was actually right in the middle of a thorough, technical, nuts'n'bolts reply to your original post. I thought it a topic worth discussing. If you want to continue it here, I'm game.

I had no hard-feelings about the messages you and I exchanged. Still don't know why that wacko made such a big deal out it. Still don't know what he meant by 'change my tone'. :\
