I want to know exactly what happened to Abby so BADLY. Maybe there's a sequel coming at some point? (Nathaniel's disappearance would be another point of evidence for this.)

I'd imagined up until the end that Nathaniel was Abby's killer -- something he'd done in his psychopathic youth, maybe. It's really nagging at me not to have any closure on that. But I absolutely loved this novel, so this is really only a very small nitpick. (Still! I want to know!)
