is it bad to want to beat the crap out o a fictional character for things he/she did in a book?

Beat up an actual human being. Live a little.
hate a series book? I hate them no mather I like the reading or not. I think that you can condense a good story in only one book.
No, that has happened to me before! :) Sometimes I get genuinely annoyed with certain characters; and I talk to them as if they were actual humans. I don't know that I've ever wanted to viciously beat them, but definitely punch them in the face, sure.
I talk to my books all the time. And then people look at me and I'm like "What? I wasn't talking to you."
I think it's a marvellous skill for a writer to posses. IE) To capture and portray a character with such intensity, that the character fosters a spirit of loving or loathing. I think we've all read characters like that. :)
i talk about characters like they are my friends... people are sometimes like who are you talking about? "just this fictional character from the book i just read" no i'm not crazy, just crazy obsessed with some books.. lol
i did that just today. I said "Girl, you better move your butt!" to Tris in Allegiant and my mom looked at me like I lost my mind and said "What are you talking about?" I'm like "Huh? Oh, not you, mom. Tris. I was talking to Tris." and she was quiet for a moment then she's like "Who's Tris?"
No I do it sometimes do I tell in frustration and think wow this guy is a real douche bag when do we get to read about his untimely death. Take Octivian or Four for example I wanted to smack them in the head and put them in a time out. It's to bad Four didn't die. Some girls are mean too I hate Umbridge and Drew and Celeste mean girls are the worst. I just want to give them a good smack in the face and tell them to stop hurting other people with your mean words nobody likes you well unless your Celeste in which case I loved you from the beginning I always knew you were good lol jk no
not at all. Sometimes I want to smash a character's face in.
