Goodreads is a great place for authors and readers; it's good exposure for you. However, it's not such a great selling point for your book. Did they give you a reason why your book is being banned? That sounds so bad. I heard recently that Amazon is pulling their agreement with Goodreads, but if your book is available in other places it should be alright.

Ckay Brooks (ckaybrooks) Anna, if you are responding to my post. I rescued my book I got an e-mail about. Strange. Maybe I'm coming in today at a bad time, but I'm having a terrible time negotiating this site, and I don't have a lot of time to spare for it. My books seem to be listed here through Amazon, but they are offered other places and I don't know how to put that info in the best way.
It seems I do have an author page, but can't access/edit it (C Kay and CKay. I've been chasing my tail today and haven't been able to set up my book give away offer. Have run out of Today's allotment of time. Will check in tomorrow.

You should be able to click on your picture up on the bar. That will take you to your profile. Scroll down just a bit and you'll see in bright green 'add an event'. I hope that helps. I've never had an event here before. Glad you were able to keep your book up.

Funny, this is the second place here where the whole post doesn't show up, but the link works anyway - I tested it.

Alfred Guajardo | 2 comments Anna Walls;

I'm a little confused ! about book rankings, as I checked with Aaron Shepard's Sales Rank Express then he says he's Amazon.com sales rank, as my book (children, 6-9)had a ranking of 1,042,437 (October 23erd) and as of October 30, a ranking of 1,843,088 and the checks that I have received are small, I just want to know how I stand in sales with the numbers given ?? what's your opinion. As any information no doubt will help me,

I thank you so much
Alfred

As I understand Amazon sales ranking, those numbers indicate how many books (in your category, I think, but I'm not sure) have sold better than you book. The fact that the number grew over just a few days may not necessarily mean that your book did less well; It may also reflect that more such books have been published. Don't disrepair. Work hard to keep your book visible. My checks are pretty darn small too.

Despair , just the opposite as I have a natural euphoric feeling when I put a smile on
a child's face, or a parents, when I hand them a book, and they ask how much is It
and I say not a thing, or when someone hands me the book and asks me to sign It,
PRICELESS, all fuel that keeps me going in a positive and exciting journey, and
yes I appreciate the information given me
Sincerely;
Alfred Guajardo
