Annalise | 9 comments Hello everyone! My name is Annalise, and I'm breathing some new life into my book blog, Who Needs Sleep? I've been interested in helping indie authors promote their works for some time now, as the publishing industry has gotten a little ridiculous and, unless you've got a ton of money, it's rather difficult to promote your own material.

I want to do a segment on various indie authors and their experiences writing and marketing their books, as well as a little blurb on their most recent work. Here's a list of some previous interviews I've given to prove I'm not some rando: https://whoneedssleep.blog/indie-auth...

I would like to do something like this, but on a much bigger scale. If you are interested in participating, please post here or shoot me an email at whoneedssleepblog@gmail.com with a little blurb of your work and a link to wherever the book is sold.

I love all genres, as long as they are fiction, although my target audience tends to be teenagers and younger adults. Due to this, I will not be promoting erotica (sadly). The interview questions will be sent over email, and you can reply back at any time.

I can't wait to work with you all!

Nomita Khanna | 6 comments ROSE’S BENT STEM

Blurb:

A suspense thriller based on true events.

Tana, a diligent, young nurse with a troubled childhood, can’t believe her luck when she finds Vikram, a rich widower who says she is the ‘love of his life’.

The strong attraction quickly turns into something else, unraveling her life. Nightmares that wrecked her childhood are back—and ripping her world apart. Evil has already claimed victims. Is it about to take another?

As the four walls of her majestic Lutyens bungalow begin to close in on her, she spirals down into a dungeon. In this twisted world with betrayal at every step, she decides not to stay miserable and becomes the person she never thought she could be. The path to escape is swarming with grisly ambushes and ... intrigue.

No one really knows what happens behind closed doors or what goes inside a person’s mind. How far will someone go to protect their secrets or to get what they want? Farther than anyone can imagine. PEOPLE ARE UNKNOWABLE.

Editorial reviews:

“Chilling psychological thriller,” The Tribune
“Gripping domestic drama,” Punjab Kesari
“Riveting,” Tara Creel, Author, Editor
“Disturbing drama based on true life,” City Air News

The Pharaoh's Curse is a Historical Fiction novel targeted at Young Adults and can be found here: http://getbook.at/PharaohsCurse

After the death of a beloved pharaoh, Egypt is on the verge of imminent invasion and ruin at the hands of the bold Hittite Empire. Merkhet, a young and tentative prince, is rushed upon the Golden Throne, following an unprecedented intervention from the gods.

Navigating the intrigue of court politics is far more difficult than he could have ever imagined. All the while shadowy forces are plotting against him. And how will he manage the expectations of his jaded brother, Peronikh, who was the legitimate heir to the throne?

When the annual floods reach the lowest levels ever, all faith in Merkhet's rule is abandoned. Can he overcome the gods' anger-and finally prove he is not the Cursed Pharaoh-before his homeland is lost to famine and devastation?

Thanks :)

Mark Turnbull | 2 comments Hi could I be considered for interview please? I have just released my first novel Allegiance of Blood and I am an indie author.

Sir Francis Berkeley strives to protect his wife and family from the brutal effects of the English Civil War. But aside from the struggle between king and parliament, the allegiances of family, friendship and honour entangle him at every turn and prove to be just as bloody.

As a witness to treason on the field of Edgehill, Francis is drawn into a fast-moving world of espionage and politics. Against a backdrop of some of the major battles and sieges, Francis’s fight to reunite his family opens up very different conflicts with which to contend.

Everything is at stake when the war comes to a little church one December morning. Can the family survive the parliamentarian onslaught as well as their own feud?

Aidan Lucid | 2 comments Hi Annalise,

My name is Aidan and I just want to say thanks so much for doing this for authors. It's really appreciated. And yeah, it can be hard for new authors to afford all the special forms of advertising out there right now.

In October of this year, I had my fantasy novel, "The Lost Son" published by an American publisher, Jongleur Books. Below is the blurb,

"It's November 5th, 1945. Captain Edward Johnson and Sergeant Conor MacCall are flying somewhere over the Bermuda Triangle. What should have been a routine patrol mission turns into a fight for their lives when they are attacked by two dragons! After barely escaping, they think the worst is over. It's not.

Fast forward to present day America and seventeen-year-old Henry’s life is turned upside down when he finds a magical gold coin. It takes him to Zargothia. There he meets the US Airforce pilots and Jasper the cat. Together they learn that they have been chosen to free King Argoth and the people of Zargothia from a cruel oppressive race known as the Sadarkians. With King Argoth’s army being vastly outnumbered, however, will Henry and his friends succeed?

In this fast-paced fantasy adventure, danger lurks around every corner and nothing is what it seems."

It's now available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lost-Son-Aid...

If you'd like to get in touch with me, you can message me or email me at: thezargothiansaga @ gmail dot com I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post. Have a lovely day.

Aidan
