Megha here, from India. I am pursuing a degree in Journalism and am interested in the Non-Fiction genre.
My reads include titles about Indian politics and public utilities. Right now I am juggling with one book on India and another work of Fiction by Peter Swanson.
It's great to be here and I hope to benefit mutually by sharing titles and feedback.
Cheers!

Hi, Becky. You'll definitely want to check out all the different kinds of challenges we have going. Something is sure to help you expand your tastes and try out new things. Welcome!

Hello Becky! Great to meet you.

Hello Michelle. So pleased to meet you. I am also a voracious reader who works full time, but have only two Labradors and a cat to otherwise fill my schedule. You have my complete respect. :-)

Happy Reading!

Hello Emily. Great to meet you. All the very best with the challenges. Happy reading to you, too!
Hello, my name is Terri. I'm super excited to be a part of this group! I hope I can be active with school coming up soon.
Hi, Terri. Welcome to the group. I hope you can be active in the group too. We have a lot of fun.

Hello Terri! Good to meet you. What are you reading at the moment?

Welcome to the group, Paige. I have a huge tbr list-- and no matter how much I read, it never seems to get any shorter.

Hello Jennifer. It's good to meet you! :-)

My name is Stephanie and I just joined the group today. I am hoping the challenges will be renewed for 2018. I am looking forward to participating with you all.
Hi, Stephanie, welcome to our group. The group does have some mini and maxi challenges that are a lot of fun, as well as monthly theme reads to participate in even this late in the year.

I am not an avid reader nor a bibliophile, someone who reads when jobless or to keep my blog engaged with a few reviews! :)
Thrillers, Mystery and Fantasy catch my attention mostly, Agatha Christie being my all time fav!!
Hi, Memory Carver. Welcome to the group. I read an awful lot of the same genres you did when I was looking for work, a long time ago. You can't go wrong with Dame Agatha.

Hi, Michele. Welcome to the group.
Better late than never!
I joined this group in the fall a year ago and managed to complete a few short, fun challenges.

My favorite stand alone books are:
The Gentlemen's Guide to Vice and Virtue
The Only Alien on the Planet
The Song of Achilles (I haven't finished this yet, but it has already made it on my top three!)
I feel like this is getting too long, so I'll stop here. I am looking forward to interacting with this group!
Welcome, Alyssandra! I was in the same position before I joined Goodreads and it's made a world of difference to find people who not only read, but also like the same kinds of books that I do. Have fun exploring!

Hi, Lauren. Welcome to the group. I am a big fan of Harry Potter books and I loved The Secret Garden.

Hi Terri, welcome to the group! You're joining at a great time - just in time to get on board for next year's challenges.
This month's theme is Winter. There's a discussion thread on the main group page so you can let everyone know how you're participating.

I'm from Charleston WV, live with my Mom and sister, three dogs ( Mis, Frieddy and Spooky) and my lovebird ( Alchemy) , and sadly I'm the only bookworm in my small family.also this many sound crazy but I love watching old black and white movies from the 30's ,40's ,50's and 60's. favorite genres are : non fiction, thrillers, horror, and action and adventure
Welcome to our group, Elizabeth. When I am not reading, I like the old black and white movies the best.

It can be ,but right now outside it's 16° , cold and wet .

Your right about the old black and white movies been the best ,there's just something about them that as your watching them you get pulled into them,
