O, and I used to read mainly Stephen King books! Loved Pet Sematary too. Have you read any other of his books?

Hi,Megha here, from India. I am pursuing a degree in Journalism and am interested in the Non-Fiction genre.
My reads include titles about Indian politics and public utilities. Right now I am juggling with one book on India and another work of Fiction by Peter Swanson.
It's great to be here and I hope to benefit mutually by sharing titles and feedback.
Cheers!
Welcome Clara (Oswald). Another Whovian cool. I still hasn't hit me that we have to wait for the Christmas Special to see "new" Who. Still savoring the season 10 finale with a double dose of The Master.

Hi, my name is Michelle, and I'm a voracious reader. That means I read just about everything I can get my hands on, and I have a stack of books that I am trying to read this summer to challenge myself. I work full time and have three teenage daughters, so my reading time needs to be carved out of our busy schedules...but it's sooooo worth it! Happy Reading!
thank you for welcoming me I hope to meet some wonderful people who love reading as much as I do thanks again and happy reading

I am also a voracious reader who works full time, but have only two Labradors and a cat to otherwise fill my schedule. You have my complete respect. :-)

Hey I'm Paige and I'm new to goodreads. I recently started reading again and have a huge tbr I am hoping to make my way through before the end of 2017. I currently read a lot of YA Contemporary Romance but hope to expand to Dystopian and Fantasy.
Welcome to the group, Paige. I have a huge tbr list-- and no matter how much I read, it never seems to get any shorter.
My name is Jennifer. I am a new member and looking forward to being apart of this group. Thank you for having me. :)

Hello! My name is Stephanie and I just joined the group today. I am hoping the challenges will be renewed for 2018. I am looking forward to participating with you all.
Hi, Stephanie, welcome to our group. The group does have some mini and maxi challenges that are a lot of fun, as well as monthly theme reads to participate in even this late in the year.
Hey everyone!I am not an avid reader nor a bibliophile, someone who reads when jobless or to keep my blog engaged with a few reviews! :)
Thrillers, Mystery and Fantasy catch my attention mostly, Agatha Christie being my all time fav!!
Hi, Memory Carver. Welcome to the group. I read an awful lot of the same genres you did when I was looking for work, a long time ago. You can't go wrong with Dame Agatha.
Hello everyone! I am Michele from Finland. I am also very late to these games... Oh well.. it's never too late to start reading I suppose. And what better way to become more motivated to read than to read via challenges. So Hello! I am finally on board. Nice to meet you all!
Hi, Michele. Welcome to the group.
Better late than never!
I joined this group in the fall a year ago and managed to complete a few short, fun challenges.

Hi! My name is Alyssandra. :) I am currently living in the United States. I have always loved to read. Sadly, none of my friends are readers, so I never have anyone that I can talk to about my book obsessions. I really hope I can make some bookish friends and have some fun conversations on here! Please, feel free to send a friend request (if you are 20+. Sorry, I do not add people who are younger than that) if you are interested in talking about any books with me. :)My favorite stand alone books are:
The Gentlemen's Guide to Vice and Virtue
The Only Alien on the Planet
The Song of Achilles (I haven't finished this yet, but it has already made it on my top three!)
I feel like this is getting too long, so I'll stop here. I am looking forward to interacting with this group!
Welcome, Alyssandra! I was in the same position before I joined Goodreads and it's made a world of difference to find people who not only read, but also like the same kinds of books that I do. Have fun exploring!
Hello there, Alyssandra. Very pleased to meet you. I'm sending a friend request, but don't worry, I'm a little past (ahem!) the age of 20!
Hello everyone, I cannot recall if I introduced myself last time. Hello my name is Keith, I live in Ohio and some of my favorite books are The Shining by Stephen King, Cell, Dean Koontz Odd Thomas series. Currently I am reading Ernest Hemingway: A Farewell to Arms.
Hi, Lauren. Welcome to the group. I am a big fan of Harry Potter books and I loved The Secret Garden.
Hi All. My name is Terri and I am from Winnipeg. My friend and I have been doing this challenge independently and are loving it. I know I'm late to the party, but wondering if anyone could let me know what the genre for December is. Thanks and looking forward to expanding my TBR list through this group.
Hi Terri, welcome to the group! You're joining at a great time - just in time to get on board for next year's challenges.
This month's theme is Winter. There's a discussion thread on the main group page so you can let everyone know how you're participating.

Hi guys just found this group and decided to join, loved the idea of some of your yearly challenges which sounded fun, and would differently help me stay in track with my 2018 TBR which has 104 books on it. So a little bit about me:I'm from Charleston WV, live with my Mom and sister, three dogs ( Mis, Frieddy and Spooky) and my lovebird ( Alchemy) , and sadly I'm the only bookworm in my small family.also this many sound crazy but I love watching old black and white movies from the 30's ,40's ,50's and 60's. favorite genres are : non fiction, thrillers, horror, and action and adventure
Welcome to our group, Elizabeth. When I am not reading, I like the old black and white movies the best.
Renee wrote: "Welcome, Elizabeth! I have family in WV. It's a very beautiful state."It can be ,but right now outside it's 16° , cold and wet .
Rosemarie wrote: "Welcome to our group, Elizabeth. When I am not reading, I like the old black and white movies the best."Your right about the old black and white movies been the best ,there's just something about them that as your watching them you get pulled into them,
