In hindsight I say yes, she should have told the truth, but I can understand why she didn't. She really was determined to catch this guy and was afraid that they wouldn't let her help.
I thought she should have at least fessed up o being just an analyst, not a field agent. There was danger in them believing she had the skills of an agent so the longer she delayed telling them, the higher the risk she placed them in became. I got frustrated with her.
I understood why she didn't tell them. In hindsight, yes, she should have at least told them she wasn't an agent because she didn't have those skills. I kept rooting for her to figure out who the killer was so that when they found out who she was, she wouldn't be in as much trouble.
I understand that she had no FBI sanctioned reason to be there. She was a lab rat, not a field agent, but she was still FBI and she did have training. She really wanted to be part of the investigation be sure they caught this guy. This is where her need to see this through overshadowed her reason.
Jonetta wrote: "I knew she was in big trouble with Zack."I think he was a bit dramatic about it though.
I was really shocked by what a a$$ he was. He made it seem like it was a personal betrayal of him. That she did is solely to embarrass him.
I don't see how she could have revealed her real job much earlier in the story; maybe a few pages earlier before she slept with Zach. She really should have come clean to him.
