In my new romantic suspense thriller, "The Antiquities Dealer," David Greenberg, a skeptical Jewish gallery owner, is recruited by a former love, Miriam Solomon, a member of an ancient Israeli society, to find a missing relic — the last nail from the Crucifixion. Why this nail has so much significance to the society — and to Miriam — is what drives this complex and layered mystery, taking them from St. Louis to Israel and back, as they evade murderous religious fanatics of all stripes.
