It was no surprise that it was a powerful gay couple who came to rescue an acid attack victim young woman.
Amal described herself as probably the Cinderella of the inferno.
It was also not a surprise that Amal, the alpha lioness took charge of her new unconventional tribe when the new eutopia collapsed. Welcome to the world of Amal, Yonatan, and Meir. Welcome to my new novel White Smoke.

I am look for reviewers for my series of book set in a world similar to Ancient Greece.

If you think Greek Mythology is just about:
A. Some big muscular guy wearing a bronze jockstrap,
B. Beating the crap out of monsters and bad guys,
C. Making it with the local princess,
D. Having the Gods look on in amusement.

Well you will not find these in my books. In my world, real people are face with real problems that tests their faith in the very moral foundation of their society. It forces people to do things that go against their very nature. It is a story about survival and exactly how far would you go to protect all that you care about.

Thomas Benedict | 2 comments I am looking to have interesting conversations with readers of my new book - Worlds, The Consciousness Code. The novel is about the discovery of consciousness as a force of nature, and I spent around two years writing and rewriting it. I eventually got to the point where I couldn't get any closer to the story I wanted to tell, so I had to put it out in the world.

I do enjoy reading people's reviews, but they certainly caught me off guard as they are much more impactful (good or bad) than I imagined. This publishing process has taught me that I apparently care what people think - very stressful.

With that said, I do hope people enjoy it and that it leads to at least a few good conversations out there in the world.

Broken
Hello!! My name is Christine and I am looking for more people to read, review and rate my first published book Broken. I would love some feedback as I would like to do a sequel after I finish my current title Bully. Broken can be found on Goodreads, Barnes & Noble, Amazon and some local book stores in Buffalo, NY. I truly would appreciate any and all feedback if anyone would be so kind to help.
Broken is a story of friendship, love, sex, murder, betrayal and secrets exposed. It’s a romantic rollercoaster ride. A love story with a serial killer vibe.
Lena McAnderson a young, quiet, beautiful blonde country girl, who during high school, while everyone was in the prime of their life, took care of her dying mother up until the very end. During this heart breaking time Lena gets to know her neighbor and high school peer, Bryan Mills whom she later believes could be her possible soulmate. That is until Chance Wallace stumbles into her life, an outsider from Cloverfield Maine, who carries along with him a dark secret.
Lena finds herself entangled in a strange love triangle which in return causes love hate relationships.
The once quiet town of Silver Tree Acres PA becomes plagued by a serial killer. A serial killer who has convinced himself that his intentions are good.

Kindle is on sale for 99 cents!
Sherrie Miranda's "Crimes & Impunity in New Orleans" follows the dramatic story of naive, sheltered Shelly going to “The Big Easy” to prepare for El Salvador, but has no idea she will encounter sexism and witness racism as well as illegal activities by government agents.
https://www.amzn.com/dp/B08KMHNNDK
Author, Sherrie Miranda's husband made the trailer for "Crimes & Impunity in New Orleans." He wrote the music too.
https://youtu.be/7_NL-V9KEi4
Review: Shelly’s journey in “the city that care forgot.”Sherrie Miranda’s new novel “Crimes and Impunity in New Orleans” puts the reader into a whirlwind of political protests, abusive police, sexist attitudes towards women, and “good old boys” racism in 1980’s New Orleans. Miranda’s second novel follows Shelly, the young northerner, as she quickly finds out that she “isn’t in Kansas anymore” while encountering a slew of picturesque, colorful characters. Reading her book makes you wonder if justice and respect for blacks, immigrants and women.

Jeff Roland | 1 comments Hi everyone
I am new here and a French international artist ... i also write inspirational texts and posted it on goodreads, it s called Jeff Roland Retrospective : an Introduction to the Magical Universes. You can find it in my goodreads authors page if you d like to have a look. Here is the introduction. Well the art inside speaks more ...
--- There you go ---
I created this illustrated book with my artworks and some experiences of my life . Honoured by the incredible support of many friends, who follow my work and read my reflections , I decided to make it available and within reach of everyone. I wanted to share the evolution of my Art. The book is written in English, Spanish and French.
My art is a gateway to your own understanding. It intends to make you dig a Little Deeper and forget reality for an instant. Letting your mind tell you and see how your soul deep inside responds, you will find that somehow we all share some desires as humans : we need a work of art that will give you hope, in which you will find the motivation of your happiness as an individual, completely fulfilled within the childhood dreams you set so long ago for yourself, and also as a member of a community of other singular individuals who are essential to your growth.
In my book, I opened a bag of memories making it clear that we advance and, even if we feel that we remain pretty much the same, it is only by Looking Back that we can see any evolution. And mainly that there is clearly someone that we become! Through my paintings and my words, I want to inspire you to walk your own path, in your own terms, with a determined belief in a future of Hope and joy. Let's be Dissidents. Let's not resign.

Doug Hughes | 2 comments Hello All. The crisis of a generation - the adventure of a lifetime! That would be a cute blurb for an action/adventure work of fiction. But this memoir is all true - I was there.

The flight was the result of two years of planning and effort but I had to learn how to fly before I could make that landing. I had cargo - 535 letters, one addressed to every member of Congress calling them out for institutional corruption.

The firestorm of publicity gave me the chance to direct citizens to the groups working to end big money in politics. The DOJ threatened with nine years of prison for a crime that injured no one and did not a dime of property damage.

This is a classic David vs Goliath story. It's not over and the fate of a nation still hangs in the balance. Looking for reviews.

In a jungle haunted by shapeshifters and devastating earth magic, nothing is as dangerous as family.

It is a tale of brutal conquests, twisted histories and forbidden magic. The Lion chief has three heirs. The warrior, the worker, and the accursed. For one to ascend the lionchair, the others must be broken.

As folklores come alive and dark clouds gather, amid tragedy and victory, honor and betrayal, everyone must gamble for that most elusive of places – survival.

Fans of Joe Abercrombie, G.R.R. Martin and Garth Nix will enjoy this blockbuster debut about a world trapped in eternal warfare and a young warrior who must rise above the clash of princes to bring a new age.

It's a story about two ordinary kids who later became superheroes. Both kids will have to embark on some quests in order to overcome some issues they are struggling with.

Eventually, they are given superpowers after becoming better versions of themselves. With their superpowers, both kids can challenge a supervillain who seeks to get hold of a magical crystal with which he can use to rule the world.

The book is fun, the pictures are vibrant and there are some lessons like courage, kindness, caring for other and teamwork that kids can learn.
