I'm getting through the Harry Potter series this year, as well as Cress Fairest and Winter of Lunar Chronicles, and Empire of Storms, Tower of Dawn and Kingdom of Ash. Also Acomaf and Acowar and Acofas. So we're reading a lot of the same books Eva!

I don’t know about that but when I visited Victoria YEARS ago the thing I’ll never forget is how CLEAN it was. I remember coming back and telling people that it was so clean you could eat off the street.

I’ll take your word for it though. My husband and I actually have a vacation planned in Canada for next year but I can’t remember where. My husband set it up.

It doesn't seem super clean to me but it's not filthy. I just notice it more now that I have a puppy that likes to eat ANYTHING she finds on the ground.

Spain and Portugal are REALLY clean. They have people who actually sweep the streets daily. O.o

I'd say in general we are very polite and nice. We of course are a large country so I can't speak for all of Canada but overall very nice. :) Plus really safe. We have VERY strict gun laws and other weapon laws.

Oooh I hope it's wonderful! I want to explore more of Canada. I have only been to Ontario (where I live) and Quebec (right next door)

I wish we had good control laws. It seems like every time we turn around there’s another school shooting, mass murders, and drive by shootings. On Halloween night a little 7 year old girl was shot twice while out trick-or-treating with her dad. I don’t know if she’s okay or not. But it’s so sad and senseless!

Canada has some of those as well but it's a lot harder. You have to be REALLY motivated and sneaky to manage it. I honestly don't think I have ever seen a gun other than when I see a police officer or when my grandfather who owned a farm shot wolves that crept on his property. Mostly I just see them on tv.

@Eva: I've got Cress planned for today, but the others I don't have planned yet. I imagine I'll be doing them in December, as I don't have them on hand right now. I can't seem to find your post with the books you wanted to read, did you post that here? Or was that on the Wanted thread? XD I'm sure there were other books I wanted to ask you about!
