ABANDONED. Help! I don't remember the title of this YA book!

About 7 years ago, I read a young adult book that I absolutely loved. It was about a high school girl, with freckles (I believe her name was Ann, but could be wrong). Her mom left home, leaving a note behind, and some money she'd stashed in a book on a shelf. The girl is left to figure out why her mother is acting this way, recieving vague clues along the way. Meanwhile, she juggles schoolwork, band, and two boys she finds interest in. One's name is Charles, and the other is a more unique name, she calls him Ty. One is very poor, gets into trouble, and lives with her awhile. This is the best I can do without spoilers. Someone please help!!
