I just want to make sure I understand.

We have to read a book for every space on the board, then read all the topics we didn't choose for round 1 before we get a new board?

Not just 5 in a row?

So each board has 2 rounds. So you will have to read 1 category for each space for round 1. Then once that is complete, you will then go back and read for the other category for each space for round 2.

Alaina there was a mistake on the spreadsheet, it added to page numbers to the points. I fixed mine on my sheet but just thought i would give you a heads up!!

This thread is just to ask questions. Since we are doing solo it would mainly be to ask Alaina questions regarding the challenge.

The Review thread is where we post reviews of the books we have read for the Challenge

Then our spreadsheet you will get your own page when you go onto it you will see I chose board 5 and I have filled in my books there. Its to help you keep track of what you have finished and help you plan what to read next. So let Alaina know which one you choose and she will create you a board.

What is a MPG?

Main page genre. So when you go to the books page it will be right under genres. So for , the MPGs are Fantasy, Fiction, and Adult.

And "Tagged family on first page" Is that the word family on the actual first page in the book?

And Wish in text, can it be anywhere in the book? must we supply the page number?

Tagged family will be under genre's, so where you see the main page genre there should be a button to look at other shelves (or something along those lines). Then on the first page, if you see family anywhere on it - then it works.

As for anything in text, you will either need to let me know the page or location and the actual quote that has the word. Doesn't need to be the full sentence - it can be a part of it but you need to have the word in it.

But all of those books when I go into them the 4 genres that is shown there is not family.

***BONUS POINT UPDATE***

This is a one day only bonus point opportunity. It will not be team based but individual (woohoo). Since it is my birthday tomorrow, I will be giving the following bonus points:

5 bonus points - Book features a birthday
10 bonus points - MC is turning 28 or is 28 years old.
15 bonus points - Book was published on 12/23
20 bonus points - Book was published on 12/23/1991

These bonus points will ONLY be available on 12/23. You can use your time zone or mine (EST) - just please let me know what time it is in your area when posting the book on your review thread.

It doesn't have to be a book that you started and finished on that day. It can be for any book that you have started/finished since the beginning of this challenge. However, it must be a book that you haven't used for any of the categories/tasks yet.

That being said, it doesn't mean that a book can't count for both a task AND bonus points. It totally can. I just need to see a book that hasn't been used within the challenge yet for that specific participant.

You can even post a book for just these bonus points - but only on the 23rd! After that, you can continue on reading for the categories/tasks until the challenge is over.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask!

Okay guys, I'm going to be nice and give you all one giant ass new years eve present! So I'm sure you all either have some or a lot of books on your banked tab. I'm going to let you all post your books for ANY category. It doesn't matter if it's on your board or not.

I just feel like we should have zero books on the banked tab before it's 2020. You can even post multiple books for the same category. It doesn't matter to me.

Please post for people who can't - just guess and if you don't know you can say **PICK FOR ME ALAINA** and I totally will.

I'm exhausted and still at work - so crazy kids!
