CONGRATS! You all have finished all the boards! Your new board is SONGS! You all also got 15 bonus points from your spin!
Remember our two banked books from the review thread. I have them in the planning post but I don’t think they are on the SS
OjoAusana wrote: "idk who read them tho"They are in the banked tab. If the book cover doesn't match the author go with book title. I didn't check thoroughly when adding so I just put the top result with the title.
OjoAusana wrote: "should i check them as posted already too?"Posted is only if they are on the review thread and we are waiting to post to make sure we fit as many as possible. Also works well since we have to wait for round 1 to be done. :)
Notes for when posting:***The 19th Christmas has Merry Christmas 5 times according to google books. No pages listed but these are the phrases:
address and said, "There you go. Merry Christmas. "
"Merry Christmas to you, too. Both of you," Cindy said, and
I'll just do those two.

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck (December edition) - https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...
yea i meant mark posted for the two that are on hold but i wanted to doubt check before i did it just in case, i put them in but had to get off my laptop so they're just in the spaces right now without pg # or anything, i also have a good amount of banked books to add but will be doing it later :)
We have to post those anyway to let Alaina know what we are using them for. :)Okay. I'm still adding books in. I'll add till I have to leave. I'm also changing a few things so we are using the highest points books first. :)
if it turns out we need a reread fav i can do that too, i only have 10% on one of the longer books im reading and only 20% on a normal length one too so im about to binge borrow soon too lol
OjoAusana wrote: "if it turns out we need a reread fav i can do that too, i only have 10% on one of the longer books im reading and only 20% on a normal length one too so im about to binge borrow soon too lol"Awesome. I can cover it too but I'm trying to find harder spots for my book first. :)
I might be able to cover travel with it.
im about to finish War Storm and they travel a lot in that so i could put that there thats the one i only have 10% left on too lol
OjoAusana wrote: "im about to finish War Storm and they travel a lot in that so i could put that there thats the one i only have 10% left on too lol"Good to know. I'll see what else my book might be able to cover. It's good we are chatting so we know what works. :)
yes but i also have another book that has 4+ siblings just want to double check its okay is ones dead & one adopted (4 are biological tho)
OjoAusana wrote: "yes but i also have another book that has 4+ siblings just want to double check its okay is ones dead & one adopted (4 are biological tho)"I think they just have to have had 4 siblings at one point. That might be a good thing to ask in the Q&A though. :)
The only ones we need now to finish round 1 are:MPG Family OR Tagged 'family' on the first page
Book title starts with N OR Author's initials must be ND or DN
Read any book of your choice
There might be a currently reading I overlooked but those are the ones I can immedeately tell.
I have a few books I haven't banked yet....so I'll see if I can add them somewhere or I can bank them :)
Trisha wrote: "I have a few books I haven't banked yet....so I'll see if I can add them somewhere or I can bank them :)"Awesome. We might also move the ones we have if yours are worth more points. We want to use as many high point books as we can.
I think all mine are buddy reads, and I have Full Throttle which is a longer book - I was taking for the middle spot since I also buddy read it.am I okay to post?

I think we should wait just to be sure. Maybe till tomorrow? That way we can be sure we are using everything we can. We only have 5 days left and I doubt we'll get another puzzle.
perfect! I updated above post with information (one was NOT a buddy read)so bump any of my books as needed :) I'll be around to post if we decide to go with mine!
I'm not sure we can use author's initials found in SILVER for the book Antony and Cleopatra by William Shakespeare unless only ONE initial is okay. If it is, I'll post the book in the review when I can. I'm leaving for FL in the morning for the month of January.
Vicki wrote: "I'm not sure we can use author's initials found in SILVER for the book Antony and Cleopatra by William Shakespeare unless only ONE initial is okay. If it is, I'll post th..."Ah. Okay. In the SS it was just put as Shakespear. :)
Hi! I wanted to say sorry that I don't chat on here much - I've just found that a lot of the time, discussions happen while I'm asleep (I think it might be a timezone thing) so by the time I'm up there's not anything to comment with - I'm cool with any decisions made though and Board 5 is a good shout :)
I found a 2 point book for mrs. in title and a 3 point pub in 2006 I can read before the end of the challenge if no one else has those
Hey guys! You are all so close to finishing round one of your board! Here are the tasks that you have left:
White Christmas: White cover OR Book title starts with W
Silent Night: Titles starts with S OR MC is mute or deaf.
Last Christmas: Author’s first or last name has “CHRIS” in it. (Ex: Christina, Christy, Chris, Christian, etc.) OR Title starts with L
Almost Thanksgiving Day: MPG Family OR Tagged 'family' on the first page
November Blue: Published in 2006 (any month) OR Page count has a 6 in it
November was White, December was Grey: Book title starts with N OR Author’s initials must be ND or DN.
December Snow: Title starts with D OR Published in December (any year).
All I Want for Christmas is You Books: Read a debut novel OR Read a short story collection.

I put Passenger in the reread a favorite category since it’s 496 pages, so 5 points and I’m definitely finishing it before the end of the year for another challenge. If someone had a higher point one I’m fine with being bumped too.
If we get some short ones in, it’s possible if we got a new card we could finish another round one with all our still banked books. Pushing it, but possible...
should we start looking at the other boards? I still have 15 books that can be used on a board that don't fit on our current one.added my two to the ss & depending on how long it takes me to read them I might be able to do N.D depending on if middle names count
edit: it will count but not going to add it to the ss until I finish at least one of the books I added today just in case
Anna wrote: "I think I'll get Birdsong done in the next day or so which will fit for CHRIS initials if needed 😊"that would be awesome!
I think we have all the books turned in for round one now too! :)
I think for the Chris one, the whole word has to be in the authors name. Does it have to be in order or those 5 letters are in the author’s name?
Keri wrote: "I think for the Chris one, the whole word has to be in the authors name. Does it have to be in order or those 5 letters are in the author’s name?"hmm yea I think for most it doesn't matter the order but if it does, I finished one of my books today, and am half way done with the other (with maybe an hr left to finish), so ill be starting the ND & finishing pub in 2006 tomorrow.
sooooo, I have one other book that I have to finish but I think I can finish one more book for this SS, If parenting books count as family MPG, I can do that hands down quick af and can probs find some book on my kindle with chris in the name! Ill be busy for a few hours tomorrow but rn im pretty much layed off so I can read whatever we need! :)
Keri wrote: "I think for the Chris one, the whole word has to be in the authors name. But from what I can tell from other challenges, CHRIS should be able to go in any order within first and last name

Also for CHRIS in author's first or last name has to be the full name together, like I used in the examples:
CHRIStine
CHRISty
CHRIStian
etc.
CHRIStine
CHRISty
CHRIStian
etc.
