When I Fall in Love, by Lynn Kurland

Nicholas de Piaget is finished with demoiselles more interested in his riches than his heart. He is certain he’ll spend the rest of his life in his leaky castle, watching others enjoy wedded bliss, until he stumbles upon a flame-haired maiden in distress. His honor demands that he help her return home – if only his heart would allow it.

Jennifer McKinnon is convinced that there are no more knights in shining armor – at least not in Manhattan. Then a chance trip to England leaves her wondering if a happily ever after might be in her future. Little does she know that a hero of legendary chivalry awaits her … eight hundred years in the past.

But desires of the heart and dangerous secrets threaten to tear them apart, and only time will tell if true love can lead them to a fairy-tale ending...

DECEMBER ------OR JANUARY?????:

This is #4 in the De Piaget series, but the twelfth book we will read in the series combo, as we are reading these two intertwining series in chronological order.

There are several different ways to approach these intertwining series (Kurland's Two Series: De Piaget & The MacLeods). We have decided to go by this one, suggested by
The Window Seat: List of Books (Under spoiler to save space.)

This series read continues in July. This one is a combination of Medieval Romances and Time Travel. (Some books will not have the Time Travel element.)

Please join us, or just stop in and say, "Hi!" or tell us which cover you prefer. But...

Expect Spoilers!

Chris (cdavies1951) | 312 comments LK, is this still a go? I don't see the book on Amazon

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments Chris, I have it in paperback, if I can remember where I put it the other day. I just haven't gotten to it due the craziness that is December.

I also found it here on Amazon.

Gosh, I hope I can get to it. Don't buy it just because of me.

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments Hey, Chris, did you like Loving Rose The Redemption of Malcolm Sinclair (Casebook of Barnaby Adair, #3) by Stephanie Laurens on audio? I'm not sure I like the narrator or now.

It was okay. I didn't dislike it, but it wasn't my favorite, either. I listen to Audiobooks here and there, but I'm nowhere near a connoisseur, and couldn't tell you which narrator was which.

I did find the Kurland book (I'd looked it up under the de Piaget series and it wasn't listed there). Sorry for the inconvenience.

If it's all the same, and we don't have a big audience for this one, I'll save it for another time - I haven't read the rest of the series, yet. I think I'll start with the first one.

Thanks, LK!

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments Waiting is fine with me, Chris. I was going to look for it last night, but got distracted when the plumber didn't show. **sigh**

BTW, there wasn't any "inconvenience." It was just a click of a mouse. ☺

Thanks for the feedback on the audio.
