I will make sure I treat the living better though - you never know what is waiting for you when you die!

Dear Janet,
Thank you so much, I am very glad you enjoyed it and welcome reviews. Being an Indie author its hard being noticed so every review really helps (especially on Amazon and goodreads). I look forward to reading yours. If you enjoyed this book then you will be glad to know that I intend it to be a series. In fact, book 2 in the series 'Shades Of Vengeance' is written and I have just completed my second edit and is now back with my editor for final approval. I hope that this will be out very soon. I intend them to be self contained stories but also with an overall story arc.
If you wish to keep up to date with releases I would suggest you follow my author page on Goodreads, and/or like me on Facebook. www.facebook.com/Nicky.P.Gardiner.Author

Thank you for reading Madison. Book 2 is out soon so I hope you enjoy it. I did a fair bit of research into different beliefs into the afterlife and wanted the first book to seem believable to help draw the reader in. Also thank you for your kind review.

I am looking for reviews for my book 'The Showman And The Shade' which is available on Amazon for kindle as well as in paperback.
Jack Wrightman was desperate for the success that had eluded him his entire life. This was until he stumbled upon an ancient book granting him power over the dead. Using dark magic he binds an unwitting soul to his will. His goal: to use the enslaved spirit to act as an intermediary in talking to the deceased, and to become a world-renowned spiritualist medium (and filthy rich to boot).
What Jack doesn't count on is the unwillingness of his new-found assistant...
It is a ghost story with a difference. It is from the view point of the ghost (Or Shade).
I am hoping that I can create a bit of a buzz and get some interest in the book. I have had some reviews in the UK on Amazon but sadly none in the USA as of yet.
