He kissed the top of her head as he hugged her lightly, "sorry, I've missed you." he said.

Tylia hugs him back. "I thought... Well, I thought I wouldn't see you again."
"Me too" he murmured into her ear.
"maybe we should get back." he said looking at the palace. Locke hadn't realised they had walked out to the gardens
"Yeah." She looks around, a bit confused. She hadn't noticed they were walking.
Locke kissed her cheek as they turned to head back in. "How are you after everything that happened?" he had heard about the prince and his partner being abducted, but he didn't know it was Tylia until t dawned on him now.
"I... I don't know..." She looks down sadly.
Locke stops walking and pulls her close. "Talk to me Tylia?" he knew the prince was in a bad shape and trying his best, but he knew it was hard to be broken and try to help another broken person.
Tylia sucks in a breath, scared now.
Locke didn't say another word. Instead he stays quiet and lets her speak when she is ready.
"They... They..." She breaths shakily, looking down.
"Take your time" he says gently.
When she speaks again, her voice is almost to shaky to understand. "They used me...."
Locke was angry, but stayed calm for Tylia's sake, "Go on." he whispered squeezing her gently.
Tylia bursts into tears, hiding her face in his chest.
He holds her close. "I'm here and you and Douglas are my priority. I won't let it happen again."
She nods shakily, relaxing in her brothers arms.
Locke holds her close as she slowly calms.
"Can we go check on Dougie now?" She asks in her small voice.
He nods and guides her back to his room.
Tylia trembles slightly, looking down.
"Listen, I'm here for you and the prince if any of you want to talk."
He kisses the top of her head. "I have duties just now, but I will come back and check on you both."
"Locke... Could I ask Alice- The queen- if you could become our guard?" She asks timidly.
Locke looks at her with a smile, "I want that too"
He kisses her head once more before leaving to do his job.
Tylia peers into the room that Dougie was in, nervous.
Dougie lay in the bed, his eyes open as he stares to the side out of the window.
Tylia walks over to the bed and kneels down behind him. She reaches and takes his hand gently.
His head turns to look at her. "I'm sorry" he whimpers.
"Why are you sorry?!" She asked worriedly, taking his hand into hers.
"I done this to myself." he whispers as he looks into her eyes. "I done it when Lil- when Lilly died too."
Tylia swallows hard, tears in her eyes. She drops his hand and crawls up into the bed, wrapping her arms around him.
Dougie clung to her, "I don't mean to. I ju- I feel like I should have done more."
Tylia just holds him, not knowing what to say.
He sniffles as he wraps his arms around her. He felt cold, but his skin was hot.
She rubs his back gently. "You should rest." She says kindly, sweetly.
"Stay" he mumbled, already half asleep.
"I will never leave..." She promises in a whisper, curling tighter against him.
Dougie mumbles something as he drifts off.
Tylia holds him until she falls asleep as well.
He purr's during his sleep, sniffling every now and then.
Whenever he sniff, she wakes, and murmurs comforting words until he settles.
