Matt and Kellin looked at the doctor as Magnus tried, but gave up quickly. "We looked at his test results and ... They're not too good." he startedKellin jumped up, "I knew there was something wrong!" Matt held him close to keep him quiet.
"Brain cancer." He said simply. There was no easy way to put it. "In a way it was a good thing he got concussion or we would haven't known until it was too late, but at the same time that attack has probably had a bigger effect on him, with the cancer, than your average healthy patient."
Matt listened to the doctor and felt as if he couldn't move as he watched haylee fall to the ground and his daughter run out the door. "I know Zain." he said walking to Haylee, but kissed Magnus' head first, "It doesn't change anything." He held Haylee close.Kellin sank to the floor holding his knee's to his chest. "No" he whispered over and over again, "No he can't. Your wrong." he said running to the doctor, "Your wrong!"
Watching everything play out Magnus was quiet as he watched the chaos slowly erupt in the room.
Kellin nodded as he ran past the doctor. Where is she? He looked around and finally chanced the car. He opened the door to find her with blood running down her arm. "What did you do?"Matt smiled at Zain and his words. Magnus watched them all and listened. His eyes shut. He could still hear, but faintly. Then nothing. Quiet and dark. Empty.
The doctor ushered them out of the room and shouted on the nurses. A nurse came to the family and told them about the family room two doors down where there were two beds, sofa's and blankets along with drinks and some snacks. Kellin pulled her in close. "He won't die. He wont." he whispered pulling her out of the car and using the blade to cut the sleeve off he jacket and wrapped it around her arm. "It's Maggie, there is no way." He started to take her back into the hospital.
Matt watched the two before speaking, "Zain, are you sure?" he didn't want him hiding anything because of what had happened.Kellin found a nurse outside his brothers room, "Can you bandage her arm?" he asked then looked at the door, "Whats going on?"
The nurse gave them a light smile "Come this way." she picks up some bandages and leads them into the room where their parents and Zain were.
Matt sighed and went to Rose after the nurse had bandaged her arm and left. "Come on" he says lifting her up and to the sofa with Zain, "You too Kellin." When they were all sitting he spoke. "We are all going to talk. When your mother comes back in, we will all talk. Nothing is a secret. Zain, you are such a bad liar." He looked at all the kids, except Magnus. Matt wanted to cry, but he never would in front of them. "Everything is to be out in the open. I mean it."Kellin listened. He looked to his brother and sister feelin guilt and pain. I'm supposed to be looking after them.
Matt ran a hand through his hair. "When I was your age, my parents passed. I took to drugs and drink until you uncle said to me what I just said to you. Talk. I did and look at me now. I have a good job, a lovely wife and four amazing kids with another on the way." He had only spoke to Haylee once about it and it was difficult she knew that. Kellin was quiet waiting on the others.
Matt pulled her into a hug, "My little girl" he soothed, "Me and your mother are here, and will support you know matter what." he stroked her hais as he kissed her head, "okay?"Kellin looked down, then thinking of it being an obvious move he lifted his head to look between his brother and sister.
Kellin turned to Zain as he nudged him. He gave him a funny look then turned to his family, his eyes falling to the floor. How does he say that. How does he say what he wants to say. Matt held Rose as he waited on Kellin. He knew that Zain was hiding something. He was too quiet. Turning to Haylee he gave Haylee a small smile to say everything will be okay.
Kellin kept his eyes on the floor before whispering. "I have depression and bad anxiety." He looked to his dad, "I'm weak. I can't be like you all manly and taking charge. I'm just a coward."Matt stared at him. He thinks that makes him weak? "son it's okay. Your not weak because of it."
Kellin listened to his mother, his mouth open. "you don't have that?" he said not believing her. Matt smiled at the memory. "she does. Your mother started taking a panic attack when she told me how she felt about me."
Matt smiled back at her, as Kellin came over to hug her. It felt quiet without Magnus, too quiet. "it's worse when Maggie isn't around." He said holding her tight, "i can't loose him."
Kellin held her close, not wanting to let go. Matt turned to Zain, "now it's your turn and don't lie. I can tell like I can tell with your mother" he chuckled with a raised eyebrow.
((sorry for slow reply))Matt turned pale, "How sick?" Kellin turned to look at him too
Before matt could say anything he crouched in front of Haylee, "Hey," he soothed rubbing her shoulder, "Breath. take your time." Kellin watched his mother remembering how he easily gets like that. "we need to speak to the doctor, okay?" he spoke to Haylee and Kellin.
As matt made a move Zain was picked up by Justin, who had been standing at the door for the past few minutes. "Will someone please god damn explain whats going on with the lot of ya?" Justin had stubble on his chin and his husky voice had only gotten huskier. "Come on?"
Justin gave Zain to Matt, "Take them out just now whilst he calm her." he went to his sister pulling her into a hug to comfort her, "I'll see you kids soon okay?"Matt nodded picking up Zain, "come on you two, we'll go to the cafe and get something to eat and bring something up for Magnus?" he ushered the kids out.
Justin held her tight, securing her as you do in a panic attack. He kept her together, and safe. "You need to be strong not for yourself, but for Matt and your kids. Zain needs you there and so does Magnus and Rose and Kellin." he kissed her forehead as she calmed. "And for the little yin, thats coming." he smiled knowingly.Kellin held Zain close making Matt smile, "No. She's a mother who is worried for her children. Mum will be upset, but she'll come back stronger. Thats woman for you" he chuckled to lighten the mood.
Justin held her tight and kept kissing her head softly waiting on her to come down. "You okay?" Kellin asked worriedly. His face soft.
Matt gave Kellin some money and told him to get him and Rose something to eat. "Hey, look at me." he said rubbing Zain's back, "We'll go and speak to someone, okay?"Kellin took Rosaline's hand to the cafe, "What do you want?" he asked with a smile as he covered the fact that he was scared.
Matt picked him up again to take him to a doctor. He found the one dealing with Magnus, "Can you give him a check over?" "Of course," he answered. It wasn't busy, being a tuesday.
Kellin so the blood on his hands, "What did you do to Leo?" he knew, but he had to ask.
Kellin smiled. He knew that Jacob was in love with his sister and he welcomed it. Kellin knew he would look after her. Matt held him close until the doctor started doing some tests and then when he was done Matt brought him back into his arms. "How is he?"
Kellin smiled before heading to get something for the three of them.Matt held him close waiting on what was to come next.

((ahah I have no idea, give me a couple mins to think about it. I was the same with Kellin and I just added my anxiety to his problems aha))Kellin came back to them, "Are you love birds just gonna stand there?" ha asked as he sat down at a table. Magnus woke slowly to see Justin sitting there with a small smile and his mother.
"Its Chronic Bronchitis," the doctor said, "He can't exhale properly there for having difficulty breathing and causing that cough. I'll give you some antibiotics to take and I'll increase the oxygen pressure to help you cope."Magnus looked at his mum next, "Mum" he croaked out, his voice rough. "I'm not gonna die." he smiled.
Magnus gave them his famous grin, "I know." A cough erupted from him, but he got himself together. He looked at Justin unsure if he knew, then back to his mother. "Where is dad and... everyone."Matt sighed then the doctor continued, "It will probably occur a lot for you due to your lungs already being weak."

"Wrap up warm when you can," he said, "and keep up with injections as well as these," the doctor gave him a box of tablets, "these will build up your immune system. It would be a good idea to take vitamins and fish oils to keep your body at good health."Magnus sat up as much as he could. "I'm so hungry." he groaned before looking at Justin and taking a deep breath. "I'm gay. I like men, not women so you wont be getting four crazy babies from me. You guys wont be getting any." he continued to ramble as his nerves raise quickly.
((Do you want to play Justin?))He hummed lightly at his mothers words. Magnus liked the sound of having kids. He looked at Justin waiting on him answering.
Matt walked with Kellin, "We'll get something to eat before going to see your brother. They left after the doctor said he would go and see Magnus next. As they made their way to the cafe Matt smiled at Kellin, Rose and Jacob. He had met Jacob a few times. They were getting ready to leave. "Hey," he said giving Zain money to get himself and mother something.
"sure kiddo" he said with a smile watching saints run and laughed. Again he had a knowing smile but kept quiet.Magnus smiled as he felt tears sting his eyes. He went from thinking the would all hate him to them all supporting him.
Matt smiled and pulled the boy into a hug. "thank you. She needs someone like you Jacob, but no more fights." He smiled. "now go back in there and stay with my baby girl."Maggie grinned "I'm not flamboyant mum." Although he had tried his sister's eyeliner once and always wanted to know what tight jeans felt like.
Matt and the kids made their way back up to Maggie's room.The doctor knocked before entering, "is you husband back yet? he asked. "i can wait until he gets back."
Matt entered behind the doctor, "sorry, were you guys waiting on us?""No problem" the doctor said, "I don't know if you want your kids in here when I speak. It is up to you." He smiles gently, one of worry and fear for them.
The doctor nodded before starting. "He has cancer of the brain, which we established before, but we know where it is and a good bit about how it will effect him and how to treat it." He looked through out the room at everyone. "It will effect his balance - movement and muscles- and we think it could effect his memory at some point. Our main solution is Chemotherapy. Since this is early on and he is still young his cells are still developing and we are almost certain he will recover better than an Adult."
Magnus was hit hard by the news. It felt real now and his confidence from earlier faltered. "I- eh" he didn't know what to say. Maybe he was going to die. Kellin saw it all on his face, every question that ran through his mind. "I'll shave my hair off when it happens." He knew his anxiety would worsen, but Maggie din't know that and he didn't care. "I'll be there."
Matt smiled "As much as you guys know I love my hair and gel it everyday" he chuckled, "I'm in." Matt walked to his son hugging him close, "Men will still be falling for you even then."Magnus listened to them all and started crying. He couldn't stop as he clung to his dad. "Yes," he mumbled, "I want Chemo." Magnus wanted to keep his family. "But you are not shaving your hair, off" he chuckled, "Only I'm aloud to look that good."
Kellin burst out laughing, he knew Magnus would be like that.
"I'll let you have some time together whilst I arrange for the Chemotherapy appointment." the doctor left soon after. Magnus didn't say anything as he hugged his mum tight. "Can one of you stay tonight. Not all, you have school and work, but someone." he pleaded.
Magnus nodded hiding his face in her shoulder. He hated being weak. "When the Chemo starts can you both be there. You and dad?"Kellin smiled as he wrapped an arm around Zain. "You get checked out?"
Magnus nodded into her shoulder. He felt tired after everything that had happened. "When can I go home?" Matt smiled at him as the doctor stood at the door."I can sent you home any time and yes treatment can be done at home. I can give you the first injection before you leave or you can wait?"
Magnus nodded before he squeaked out a 'yes'. He hated needles and clung to his mother like a baby monkey as the doctor gave him it. His eyes stung, but he didn't cry. Matt smiled at Magnus, scared of what would happen, but knowing they would all fight. He pulled Zain and Kellin to his sides.
Magnus was standing in his room and pulling on a beanie to cover his now hairless head. He sighed looking at his reflection.Kellin watched Magnus as they sat on his bed, next to Magnus' own, "You look fine." he smiled. Finally the siblings were fifteen today.
Magnus hugged his brother back gently, "Thanks" he replied. He had found it so hard to get his siblings presents as there was always one with him since he was diagnosed, but he finally had them.Kellin smiled at the two, "Are we allowed down stairs yet?" he asked knowing if they went down before their mother would try and kill them.
Matt came up behind her, "Do you need help with something, love."
Matt helped her out before pulling her into his chest, "Hmm" he hummed as his kissed her mouth gently. "Fifteen already." he groaned.Magnus smiled hearing his sister and so did Kellin, "Lets go then." Kellin grinned a Magnus' answer. Magnus followed them down, his legs shaking a little. He had noticed that. Magnus, although having the chemo, had noticed his limbs become weak still.
Reaching the bottom of the stairs Kellin walked in first followed by his brothers, "Sheesh, you guys didn't have to do this?" he spun around looking.Magnus chuckled at his brother and walked to the couch. His legs ached from walking, especially the stairs. He watched his siblings as they got excited about their birthday.
Matt smiled at Jacob and gave him a past on the back.
Matt wondered what Haylee was getting at until he say the bruise, "Oh yeah, I almost forgot." he said as he started to walk into the kitchen. Magnus chuckled at her idea, "You think I have the energy for that." He froze, but it was too late. Magnus hadn't said to anyone he had been tired all the time, or achy. His balance was starting to go as well.
Magnus leaned his head on her shoulder, "I know" he whispered back, trying not to sleep. He sat up straight again to wake himself. Matt frowned, "then how?" he asked. Jacob was becoming another child to them and he would have know one hurting him.
Matt was quiet as he listened to Jacob speak, "Does he do it a lot?" he asked, needing to know.Magnus smiled at Zain, "You first" he said for him to open his present first.
Matt pulled him into a hug, "Hey," he soothed holding him against his chest, "Jacob you need to speak to me. I need to know."Magnus smiled as he watched his brother tear into the present.

Matt walked back in realising Kellin had been quiet for a while. As he went over and put a hand on his shoulder, Kellin looked up, "Something doesn't feel right."
Magnus eyes started closing again tiredly as he leaned into his mum. "Tired" he mumbled as the Doctor came back in. He didn't look pleased.
