November 11 is Veterans Day - read a book that features a war, or a character that is currently in, or has been, in the military. Doesn't need to be totally in the U.S.
November 21 is World Hello DayRead a book set in a country other than your own or written by an author from a country other than your own.
November 20th is Universal Children's Day. Read a book with the main character is a child.
November is a wonderful time of the year for remembering and the gathering of food, friends, and family while telling stories. I would like to nominate a book with a family or friend setting that involves food.
Examples a cookout, around the table, picnic, or at a game while eating a hot dog.
In the U.S. we have Thanksgiving on a Thursday and the next day is called Black Friday, where people that dont have to work that day go shopping. I'm not sure why it is called that but I think it has something to do with the stores making money that day (being in the black). Sooo, my challenge is to read a book with a primarily black cover.
