Stanley Dial I am new to this site, and from what I have seen so far, it appears that it mostly (only?) caters to books that one can buy. In fact, I couldn't even post without being -forced- to have a published book as context! Given that, I finally gave in and picked my favorite book (and author) of all time, lol.

Anyhow, what I wanted to talk about was seeing if there was a way to include my finished work on this site somehow but after a lot of digging that doesn't seem like an option. Personally, I think that's a shame and quite limiting for the members on here. There are plenty of well-written and interesting books (especially from aspiring new authors) that cannot be purchased but are still readily available online.

After 4.5 years of writing and editing (all in my spare time), I managed to recently finish my sci-fi trilogy called SEKTOR V, which is my first work of fiction. After considering my limited options of submitting to a traditional publisher (0.0001% chance) or a zero buzz, self-publishing DOA plan with Amazon, I knew I wanted to try something different.

In the end, I decided to do a weekly release of my Trilogy on Wattpad (which has 80M writer/reader members). Three weeks in and I couldn't be happier. The interactive nature is awesome. Already, I have received a lot of great reader feedback. If you want to read SEKTOR V and -many- other books (some of which are released in exciting serial format ala The Martian), -before- they get 'discovered', then these online publishing sites are an exciting avenue to explore.

Early releases of Book 1 of my Trilogy can be found here:

Give it a read. I am a Ph.D. scientist, so if you like science fiction that's heavier on the Sci relative to the Fi you may end up enjoying it. As for S5, you haven't missed much yet since I am only 3 weekly releases into what is likely to be a 30+ serial set (with new content coming every Friday).

Cheers and I hope to interact with you soon!
