Why can this book https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... not be referenced by its Author "D. H. Buchanan" or by its Title "At The Market" or its c.1967 ISBN 070624941 ?

It needs to be fixed.

i found it searching At the market buchanan - but it was about 9 books down the list...

the GR search and its general horrible-ness is well known and now something that a GR librarian can fix

Author comes up D.H. Buchanan

The listing for the author is partial I believe. There appear to be two D.H. Buchanan.

As ISBN10 should be 10 digits, I pre-fixed it with 0 ("the 9-digit SBN code can be converted to a 10-digit ISBN by prefixing it with a zero digit '0': https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inter...) and it appears in the search for 0070624941. It also comes up in the add book/author in comments for me (if I search for D.H. Buchanan only, it's in the 2nd set of results): At the Market
