Max looked at her and tilted his head and says" oh sorry, trying to find where your fucking brain starts, but naw imm not stalking you I came to smoke" he looked at her and then scooted to the end halfway off the roof

"Can I push you off please?" Rumor asked watching him scooted closer off the ledge. "Wait no I can't because that would be murder." She said standing up and got off the ledge and walked to the door.
Max got up and says" whats your deal with me,huh, why don't you like me, what the fuck did I ever do to you?" he looked at her and tried to see what he did.
"I don't know I just don't like you." Rumor said partially lying. "Can I leave now your royal highness?" She asked crossing her arms.
Max says" no, he was standing infront of her in a matter of seconds he looked at her and says" are you sure there isn't a reason, my princess?"
"Yea I'm sure there's nothing else." Rumor said blinking a few times. Another lie? Yes. Was it very convincing? Not even close. "And can you not call me your princess?" She asked and walked around him.
He grabbed her hand and kissed her forehead and says" okay princess, love you darling" he hadn't smoked a bit. he walked past her and back to class.
Rumor stood there for a second. "Did that bastard just kiss my forehead?" She muttered to herself and walked through the door.A couple hours later.

Rumor walked around her job quickly with orders in her hands. "God I hate this job." She muttered to herself. "Hey but your uniform is cute." Someone said to her as she walked past on of the tables. She rolled her eyes and placed the orders. "At least the dumbass doesn't know I work at a sports bar." She sighing.
Max walks in by himself and sits at a table. From the back it didnt look like him and he was looking at the menu and saw Rumor walk over to him.
"Hello my name is rumor and I'll be your waitress today. Can I get you anything?" Rumor asked not knowing it was max. When she looked up at the customer her face dropped. "Oh god no. Please nononononono." Rumor said sighing and shook her head.
Max eyes were red from crying and his voice was soft he says' may I get a salad and some water" he looked at her then looked down.
She looked at Max and raised an eyebrow. "Are you ok this isn't like you........give me a few minutes and I'll be back with your food. Would you like anything else?" Rumor asked.
He says"no, thank you" he had just found out his mom had cancer and he couldn't believe it. He barely ate the food
Rumor sat across from him and stared. 'He hasn't made any comments since I brought his food....I wonder what's wrong.........?' She thought to herself. "Rumor break is over and table 32 wants you to serve them." One of her coworkers said. Rumor sighed and got up from the table. "Whatever is bugging you don't let it bug you forever." She said and walked away.
He sighed and heard her words. He looked down at hi unfinished plate. he drank some water and ate some more food waiting for his check.
"Let me go!" Rumor said as axel grabbed her arm. "I already said I won't go with you! Now let go before I call the manager!" She said as axel pushed her back on the wall by the bathrooms.
Max was walking to the restroom when he heard the commotion and was at her side in seconds and says" anything wrong princess" his voice was low and sounded like he had been crying.
Rumor looked over at max. He didn't look like his normal self and she didn't like that. "I'm fine." She said even though her arm was still in Axel's grasp.
Max looked at axel and says" let go before you have to explain to your wife when you get older the reason you cant have children" his hurt eyes landed on axel.
"No it's fine." Rumor said pulling her arm out of his grasp and walked away from them. "Hey I don't feel so well so I'm going to head home a bit earlier." She said and started to walk home.
Max sighs pays for his food and heads out the bar. His voice was soft and he walks to his motorcycle. he got on it.
Rumor watched max and walked up to him. "Hey could you give me a ride please?" She asked looking at his eyes. "I mean if it's a problem with you I could walk home." She she said rubbing her arm.
Max eyes were red from crying and he says softly" sure, hop on the back" he looked at her then looked down.
"what's wrong with you? You've been actin weird......." Rumor asked sitting on the back of the bike and held him close to her.
Max says" its nothing" he rode on his motorcycle and says" where do you live?"
"Tell me what's bugging you and I'll tell you where I live." Rumor said holding on to him tightly.
Max says' well, um my mom has cancer and she could die any day know" his voice was soft and filed with sadness as a tear escaped his eye. He drove.
"Oh.......well I'm.....it's ok........I mean if you were a vampire you could save her right?" Rumor said leaning her head on his back.
Max looked at her and when he did the bike swerved he looked back at the rode and says"im only half, the only thing I can do is walk very fast and is strong but I don't drink blood or heal people."
"Wait. Y-you're part vampire? That's so fuckin cool!!!!!!!!" Rumor said smiling a bit. "What happens if you bite a human? Are they half vampire too or a full vampire?" She asked curiously.
Max says" they are neither, if I bite a human its doesn't do anything but make them dislike me" he drove to her house.
"Well if you bit me I wouldn't really care." Rumor said teasing him a bit. "So that's how you came to side fast."
Max shrugs and drives to her house and says' can you not mention my vampire half okay" he looked down as he got a text from his mom doctor and id a U-turn heading for his house
Rumor ran her fingers through her hair. "This is why I don't like getting attached to people." She said walking into her house.
Max sent her a text ~sorry about leaving so quick but my mom just clasped on the floor at home and is in the hospital~ He reached the hospital parks and heads inside looking for her room.
Rumor looked at her phone. "How did he get my number?" She asked herself and texted him back. 'It's fine. Talk to you later royal highness.'
Max smiled and texted ~okay, my princess~ he watched over his mom and fell asleep at the hospital. He awoke soon and headed home.
Rumor was sitting in her room bored. She glanced at her phone and sighed. 'Hey wanna come over I'm sooo bored.' She texted max.
Max didnt get the text till he was driving he heads to her house ~sure but what about your parents~
She looked down at her phone. ~they're never here. Always going to go do something and shit like that.~ she wrote back.
Max appeared at her door and knocked on it first. ~im outside freezing my ass off open up princess~
Rumor walked downstairs and opened the door. "You could've used your vampire speed." She said leaning against the door.
Max says" I would princess but it tires me out" he looked at her and winked and waited for her to move so he could walk inside.
Rumor walked inside her house and sighed. "Yes so this is where I live all by myself. You can go in the living room, the kitchen and the bathroom. Just not my room." She said and walked back upstairs to finish what she was doing.
Max sighed and walked inside and sits in the living room. He wondered why he cant go in her romm and then says' oh"
She peeked her head around the corner. "Are you still sad? I thought that the old you would try to come in room. But you just can't come because I dye my hair in my room and it really stinks. So just wait a sec." Rumor said to him and then dashed back upstairs.
Max looked at her and says no" and when she left he waited for her arrival
Rumor came back downstairs and sat on Max's lap. She was going to do everything she could to make him smile again. "Do you like it?" Rumor asked smiling.http://aimeebrennan123.files.wordpres...
Max says" its cute princess" he looked at her and said" do you like you parents" he looked into her eyes when he asked the question.
She looked in his eyes and rubbed his head. "No......I actually can't remember what they look like. They left me at a young age and I was put into foster care. Then a nice family adopted me but they were never home. Not to say I didn't get everything I wanted......but I had a older who used to take care of me until he tried to bite me." Rumor said sighing.
