Ruchi (ohlookitsruchi) The creation of the universe, life, and everything has been discussed in great detail on this forum already.

What about the end? How do you think the world, humanity, and the universe will end?

message 2: by Betelgeuze (new)

Betelgeuze The total entropy in the universe will increase. And as the universe expands eventually no new stars will be formed leaving the universe cold, empty and lightless.

Lorna | 1273 comments I agree with Nathan - we will not be here to witness.

WILL the universe end? Earth might explode. Or as Betelgeuze said the universe might become cold, empty and lifeless. But the universe will still be here, no matter how cold and lifeless it is.

Liz (lizgore) | 3163 comments The whole thing about global warming is that if it gets too bad all the mammals and fish and stuff will die (THAT MEANS US). Earth will still be here. Earth won't be physically suffering. people don't understand this! Fuck.

message 6: by Lorna (new)

Lorna | 1273 comments I do. But all people care about is themselves, so...

message 7: by Dan (new)

Dan I don't know that there even will be an armageddon-type event. I think human life will end with a fizzle.

Liz (lizgore) | 3163 comments I think so too. I am thoroughly sure it will be 100% our fault.

message 10: by Lorna (new)

Lorna | 1273 comments But there will might be life again ... after a few trillion years, maybe even on earth. Maybe it's happened before? We might not be the first to live and die on earth, and there's no evidence because it was sooooo long ago!

Heheh, I think I feel a science-fiction story coming on X)

message 11: by Dan (new)

Dan But there will might be life again ... after a few trillion years

Well, not a few trillion, because in 4.5 billion years or so there will be no more Earth.
