I don't agree about the Hunger Games, the love triangle was put in to keep the attention of a certain audience. That was never even on my radar while reading the series. I didn't even look at it as live, it was all manipulation, circumstance, connection based on horrific circumstances on both sides. Both relationships weren't about love, they were about much more messed up and deeper feelings. Take all this from a person who was getting a degree in psychology/relationship counseling at the time of readingTwilight, yes, that's why it's a secret indulgence everyone has partaken of and kinda fantasied about. Deep down everyone knows it except for the people who hate popular things just to hate them and I believe deep deep down they actually kinda enjoyed it
