Glad to hear that Mika! How long do they expect to keep him in the induced coma? Was he in a car wreck? BC is right be sure to take care of yourself throughout this. I know that's easier said than done when you're worried and stressed etc. but it is important. ((((Hugs)))) and prayers sweetie!
Wreck is more like it, both cars were really totaled. The doctor just left him he said the swelling is reducing well. He expects little to no damage but we won't know definitely until Jace wakes. He also said most likely the evening if the next cat scan is clear. By the point he's going to allow Jace to wake up on his own.I'm taking care as best as I can. Tried to read to take my mind off but the words aren't reaching me. Thanks again so much. We really appreciate it. I'm even thinking of letting his mother stay with us for a while. Teach his ass to get in a accident again.
Oh god I know it's really bad if you're debating letting her stay with y'all! Sounds like the doctors are upbeat about everything. I'm sure that's a load off your shoulders.
Was anyone else hurt in the wreck?

SYNOPSIS
As a young bride, Susannah Page was rumored to be a Civil War spy for the North, a traitor to her Virginian roots. Her great-granddaughter Adelaide, the current matriarch of Holly Oak, doesn’t believe that Susannah’s ghost haunts the antebellum mansion looking for a pardon, but rather the house itself bears a grudge toward its tragic past.
When Marielle Bishop marries into the family and is transplanted from the arid west to her husband’s home, it isn’t long before she is led to believe that the house she just settled into brings misfortune to the women who live there.
With Adelaide’s richly peppered superstitions and deep family roots at stake, Marielle must sort out the truth about Susannah Page and Holly Oak— and make peace with the sacrifices she has made for love.
I was transported to a mansion in the South, watching a family deal with the struggles of Civil War. I was left with the question of "Can a house have memories or maybe even a heart?" This was a beautiful story of love, loss, and sacrifice during a terrible time.
He's awake. OMG, yes Jenne she is definitely staying. Teach his ass to put me through this again. He's doing better. Talking a little bit. Been awoke for an hour.
Hi ladies just checking in. Jace is doing better, the swelling is going down. He's passing his test, has constant headaches but that's too be expected. The other injuries seem so minor but he's okay. No idea when he'll be released.

This is my first with this author and I will definitely read more of her work. This one was a real good read. Definitely a good mystery. A little slow but eventually it sucked me end and I could not put it down. Definitely will read more in this series.

This was pretty good for a first in a series! Maggie was a supercool lead and I'm always a sucker for some snark in my books. Not your typical UF either and it had an awesome mix of creatures. While events tied up nicely, I'm excited to see where things go for Maggie. I have a feeling she'll find herself in heaps of trouble :)
Mika if you weren't able to read this week, it's ok. In the past if someone had a family emergency I've had the team go ahead. If we haven't heard from you I'll roll in the morning. There's a good Chance of team 1 rolling high enough for the win today.
So team 1 can win this week.I went ahead and rolled anyways. Rolled a 6 now on spot 77 alt is L author.
Hi guys. Thanks so much for the prayers and appreciation. Jace is doing better, had to have a second surgery because of an infection on his brain. He's doing so much better. He looks really well and I'm doing okay. The rate he's going, he should be able to go home on Monday. Jenne, I don't know how long the rest of the challenge is but I don't think I'll be able to catch up. I kind have been directed(Jace even though he's in the hospital lol) to go about my regular schedule.
So glad to hear he's better Mika! No worries on catching up. Team 1 only needs one more review by Sunday to win :(
Well team 1 won it today. Y'all have been the most awesome team! We all stayed on top of our reads and read like champs. Hope to have y'all on my team in the future. It's been a honor playing with you :)Mika keep us posted on how Jace is doing.
Thanks so much Jenne and the rest if you ladies. It was fun playing with you gals. Very efficient team I love that.Jace is doing as good as can be. Hopefully he'll be released on Monday. Next is the physio therapy.

Thank you BC, I'm trying to because I can only imagine what he would be saying when he wakes up.
