THE MOVIE JUST ENDED AND IM DEAD AND I CANT EVEN DO A COHERENT REVIEW LIKE IT KILLED ME IM DEAD. SORRY THIS PROBABLY MAKES LIKE NO SENSE BUT LIKE IM DEAD THAT WAS THE WORST ENDING EVER (WHICH I CALLED HAPPENING) AND I JUST CAN NOT HANDLE THIS ANYMORE. I thought this movie was a portrayed perfectly. I love how it went deeper into the districts and the Capitol. I love how they had Finnick add in his story. overall it was just an amazing movie that I loved so much. this book was generallyboring at the beginning but I didn't think the movie was that boring tbh. I cried and I laughed. and I think they ended it at a pretty good spot. good enough cliffhanger BUT I CANT WAIT FOR PART 2 HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WAIT A YEAR
I just saw the movie today and in one word it was AMAZING!!There are a lot of teary-eyed scenes and my friends practically cried the whole movie. I've not finished the book yet, but it was a refreshing experience to see the movie before reading the book, I didn't expect anything like that. I didn't expect to see Peeta like that, Josh was perfect, he was a real slave for the Capitol, the change was REAL as soon as you see him at the end, he was so incredibly thin,it was like he was,in fact,oppressed. The movie was just EPIC, "MOVIE OF THE YEAR" was the only thing in my brain after watching it.
What else can I say?!! The movie just swallow you whole, you cannot not love it,the acting, the directing, the montage, the music, THE HANGING TREE SONG, the attacks, the reality of everything just makes you want to scream and do something!!
I had a silent cry going for about 90% of the movie. The acting was amazing, especially with Jen, Josh and Sam. I just wanted to throw Oscars at all of their faces oh my god. Definitely going to go back to the theaters and watch it over and over again. The Hanging Tree was spot on too, just how they showed the rebels with the dam. Probably my favorite THG movie yet.
The movie was fantastic! The best scene was the Hanging Tree song and how they broke the dam singing it. God, I had goosebumps all over!Superb movie!

I watched the movie last night. SOOO FREIKEN GOOD!!!!!! I LOVE where it ended. I thought it was gonna end when peeta starts to strangle catniss and then the screen goes black and I thought it was over but it wasn't quite yet. All my friends are now borrowing the boom to read just part 2 but I told them they have to read the whole series because there is a lot that isn't in the movies but they didn't care so they are just reading part of mockingjay. I need to see part 2 even though I know what happens!!! Ahhh
Hey guys! I just watched the movie last night and thought it was amazing!
I watched the movie yesterday and I LOVED IT. The changes they made were for the best, and even though they left out some scenes I would've wanted to see, the added POV's were AMAZING. The fact that Effie was added is just perfect, everyone loves effie and she gives the whole movie a bit of humor. Also the acting level on this film is OFF-THE-CHARTS for both Jennifer and Josh. I didn't exactly like the way Coin is played out so far, they made her look too "nice" at the beginning of the book she is harsh and kinda rude towards Katniss, but I think this "nice" approach will make the change of heart of the reveal of her true intentions further into the book way more shocking to the viewer. I just can't wait for pt2. And they ended on the perfect part of the book. WOW just WOW.
AM I THE ONLY PERSON WHO JUMPED WHEN SHE SLAMMED HER HAND ON THE TABLE IN THE FIRST FEW MINUTES?
I saw the movie yesterday and it was awesome !!! I expected them to end it when Peeta strangles Katniss but they weren't that cruel with us !It's really a great movie, action packed and so so fast paced ! The added scenes were judicious, it adds to understand the story when you can't "read" Katniss's thoughts.
Josh Hutcherson made an awesome job with Peeta !
I loved the film! I loved how it ended, no matter how frustrating. Josh did such a great job I think and I can't wait to see more of him as hijacked peeta in part two. Jennifer was amazing as per usual!
I know a lot if people are complaining because it had more talking and less action than the others but just wait until part 2!
I loved the movie! It was so heartbreaking watching Peeta change. When he strangled her I was crying because of what the Capitol had done to him. I loved the Hanging Tree song and it's still stuck in my head! Jennifer Lawrence is such a great actress! I really liked it that you could also see other scenes that weren't from Katniss' perspective. I am so exited for Mockingjay part 2!
Overall, I really enjoyed the movie. Jennifer's performance was once again amazing, and Josh definitely surprised me. The beginning was a little slow, and it was less action packed than the previous two but it was understandable. The book felt so rushed, even though there were some changes (that were for the best) it was faithful to the book. It had some really powerful moments, due to the great acting (that was for me, the best aspect of the movie). I'm not a huge fan of Katniss, but Jennifer brings her to life in such a real way, I don't know. I honestly can't wait for Mockingjay part 2!

Ugh, SUCH a great movie.Jennifer Lawrence is an awesome actress and Josh killed the whole hijacked thing. WHY DO I HAVE TO WAIT A YEAR FOR THE NEXT MOVIE??!!
I so agree about josh's perfomance with the whole hijacking thing it was so good that it was better than the book and seriously, I will admit the ending with petta kinda was too extreme for me. in other words I was scared shirtless! it was too much for me to handle it was more extreme than the book and I like how they showed the difference in each interview he did, just seeing it instead of imaging it was... just well a lot. my heart fell for me so much and more than the book. honestly that happend in general e.g. with the hanging tree song which I proudly sang a long to and the whole evacuation scene and the scenes with butrercup and basically the whole movie was EPIC!!! we and my cuz Sat in the cinema untill we got kicked out for taking photos of the screen. lol we could not keep quite throughout the movie. who else quoted "if we burn, you burn with us!" at one point?
I am happy to say that I really liked the movie! Mockingjay was my least favorite of the series, but I have to say, that the movie was so well done, and I didn't think it was boring at all! The acting in the movie was so well done! I loved it!
A loved the movie sooooo much!!!!!!!!!! My favorite part was definitely when Katniss was singing the hanging tree and then the rebels joined in and blew up the dam! I think it was done so well......but now I have to wait another year! :(

The movie was amazing! Way better than the book in my opinion!! I love the emotion in the story and how everything was played out! I also think where they stopped part 1 was great because it leaves suspense and emotions swirling in your mind. Can't wait for Part 2 to come out!
I loved the movie although the ending was a little weird... It was so emotional I was crying through the entire film. JLaw's acting was perfection and i loved cressida. I think this movie really followed the book( Re-reading the book right now).

I almost past out when I saw Peeta getting slimmer and slimmer... It was so heartbreaking and weird. I hate the Capitol and president Snow. Peeta is broken, and his soul is dark now, because of the Capitol and what they did to him. I almost don't believe in Peetniss anymore, Gale is much better and he doesn't... OMG what am I saying! I... I can't talk anymore
It was a super CLIFFHANGER. I can't say I love it as Catching Fire. It was more of a GREAT film. "The Hanging Tree" part is my favorite. Is it just me that I find Cressida so cool?
Oh my god the movie was great! I loved it so much, it was emotional, and action packed (even though it wasn't even the war itself) and I loved how they did all the characters in district 13 (especially Effie..) I also loved how once in a while there was a tiny bit of comedic relief so the movie wouldn't be all just sad and depressing..

Having it stay so close to the book made me very happy and I love how the hanging tree song was done. Just glorious. When Prim went back to get her cat my heart was just racing. Then with all the white roses near the rubble I just got so angry and got the chills.
I burst into tears when Katniss was doing her "you burn with us" speech. Even though it was in the trailers from the start it was so much more powerful with the events that led up to it and with Cressida prompting her. CRIED MORE than when Rue died(book or movie)

Just saw the movie tonight. Loved it so much. I think it was done so well. Wasn't sure about them splitting it into two books, but I think was the right choice.I always felt for Gale and I think Liam has done and is doing an awesome job. And I have to admit, I was very distracted seeing Phillip Seymour Hoffman again. RIP.

It's been quite a long time since I revisited the books and I'm inspired to reread them all over again. I loved it so much!!! I think all involved have done such an awesome job bringing Collins' world to life!

It was a powerful speech that brought out the hero in all of us.
i know this movie was good and done perfectly because it made me cry in a public setting when my friend didnt cry and she is and emotional person and i'm not
I loved Mockingjay pt 1! I don't understand why anybody would dislike it.
I don't know if I'm the only person who thinks this, but Glale's presence in the movie just felt...like he wasn't supposed to be there. Like he was kind of just...there.
