Darkness gestured to the fish. "Shadows."

"Well, I'll try it." Shadows said to Darkness, hesitating before she took a little bite. "It's okay." Shadows said.

Diamonds watched.

"But, uh, someone else can eat it." Shadow said, because in reality, she HATED pikes.

Diamonds laughed.

Darkness shrugged, leaned down, and ate the pike in quick, careful bites.

[Willow]

"Man I hate pikes." Shadows whispered under her breath.

" me too, they are just to slimy," Diamonds said with a flick of her tail.

After he was finished, Darkness looked up. "Ha. Where I come from, you eat what you can find and you just gotta deal with it."

" why--oh never mind," Diamonds aid then turned away with a flick of her tail.

"Because that's how I grew up, that's why," Darkness called after her.

Diamonds sat by the river and watched it flow.

[Willow]

Shadows got up and looked at Darkness. "I have to go stretch my legs. I'll be back in a bit." Shadows said as she walked towards the exit.

"Sure." Darkness sat down and stared towards the trees.

Diamonds watched, when Shadows when out of earshot, she spoke to Darkness, " you like her don't you?" Diamonds asked calmly.

He looked at Diamonds slyly. "Not really, but she likes me."

" who do you like then?' Diamonds asked.

Darkness sniffed. "Nobody. They all like me. I haven't found anyone I like."

Diamonds looked at him," Badger got your tongue?" Diamonds asked.

Shadows came back with a mouse an a squirrel and gave the squirrel to Diamonds. Then she gave Darkness the mouse. "Eat up." Shadows said before she started to groom herself.

Diamonds ate the squirrel, " Thanks Shadows," Diamonds thanked.

[Willow]

"You're welcome." Shadows said as she continued to groom herself.

Diamonds ate quickly.

[Willow]

Shadows looked up and smiled briefly before she started to groom herself again.

Diamonds got up, " Well thanks for the food, I guess I'll be going now," Diamonds said.

[Willow]

"Ok. Bye." Shadows said as she looked up. "See you later."

Diamonds didn't answer.

[Willow]

"I'll take that as a no." Shadows said sarcastically.

Diamonds turned around, " I come when I'm needed not when I think I'm needed," Diamonds said before disappearing.

Darkness stared after her, trying to make sense of Diamonds. That's one heck of a cat, he thought.

"Hmm, then I'll take that as a yes." Shadows said to herself.

He turned away. Anyways, I don't care what other cats think. he paused. Do I?

Diamonds turned around, " Cats do not think , they do it," Diamonds said before leaving,

Darkness didn't turn, but he felt stunned. Is she a mind reader?!

Diamonds popped her head out of a bush, " Unfourntaely no, but I can tell by your face expressions," Diamonds said before actually disappearing.

He felt like running now. I never run, he chided himself. Run? BAH!

Diamonds walked through the bushes.

Putting on a mask of calm, Darkness sat down and started giving himself a wash.

Diamonds found a vacant bush and she found some moss and laid some down before sitting in the nest and falling sleep.

[Willow]

"Hmm, what a strange cat." Shadows said before she started to groom herself again.

"I agree," Darkness murmured.

((Um I guess the story for Diamonds is she leaves and doesn't come back. She is never heard of again. B/c Darkness was falling in love with her.))

Darkness leaves the clearing. "Goodbye, Shadows."

[Willow]

"Bye! Come back soon!" Shadows said. "Cause it gets really lonely here....."

[Willow]

Shadows started playing with a moss ball, trying not to think about Darkness.

[Willow]

Shadows got up and started to walk towards the exit. I might as well go exploring!
