Historical romance from early-to-mid 80s. Simone and Rudolph are the main characters. He's a Russian aristocrat and she's a maid or servant he sees during some sort of festival in the town. Rudolph seduces, then kidnaps her, falls in love, only to lose her when her true identity is discovered. Her grandmother, another Russian aristocrat, discovers who she is and that she suffered amnesia as a child. Simone bears a child by Rudolph, but refuses to tell him. I don't know if this is enough to go n. I thought it was titled "Forget me Not" but I can't locate it under that name. Early to mid 80s and paperback. Uncertain of author.
