Finished- (view spoiler)[ Finally...I finished this book! I enjoyed this as a "just okay" book. I thought it was incredibly too long and parts were very boring. I thought the ending was okay...I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it like I thought I would. The ships were sent to different planets around the universe, The Thunderhead helped create Cirrus, the diamonds exploded and will now cause 5% of the population to die every 100 years, and Goddard died but comes back as Tyger...the book just took too long to piece together for me, that I didn't really care by the time I got to the ending. Part 2 (view spoiler)[ Finally, finished this part. Goddard is power hungry. There are so many timelines. What is thunderhead building? Faraday need to do something. Where will Citra go? Rowan was captured. Greyson is smart in appointing Morrison. The ways thunderhead was giving hints to Greyson, I thought something was off with thunderhead and didn't thought that he was warning Greyson. So much happened in this part but slowly. End of Part 2 (view spoiler)[ OKAY I think this past chapter was my favorite part! I was honestly bummed when they mentioned the Toll was gleaned. I love how Greyson KNEW by the Thunderhead being silent, I love how he convinced Morrison to be his personal guard, and I love how he communicated with the Thunderhead to get around the separation of the Scythedom. but what I'm most interested in is how these little religious paragraphs about the Toll and it's interpretation fits in to the story??

Right now I have a feeling that 1. They're making a rocket on the islands with Faraday and Munira
2. The Tonist dead will be put in that rocket along with everyone on the island and sent to.... the moon? maybe?
3. MOON EARTH COLONY? HOPEFULLY?
4. The Thunderhead will kill everyone on Earth and only the colony will remain?
5. The thing the Thunderhead talks to in the beginning of some chapters is going to be Thunderhead 2.0 for the colony (hide spoiler)]

Sometimes I prefer to not be right? Its pretty wild though. It wasn't how I really THOUGHT it would go? The couples ended up together, which is cool I suppose, but it kinda sucked that Jeri and Greyson stayed. And that Astrid is A L O N E for 1600 years. (hide spoiler)]

Its kind of funny that the rings(view spoiler)[ are filled with diseases! Just sort of like the bowl of diseases that the Tonists washed their hands in, I think that was mentioned in the first book (hide spoiler)]
