Friedrich Haas One review made pointed repeated statement that "the Germans started it", and yes, but no. They didn't start WW1, but took the blame, and that worked on starting WW2. Do YOU personally or as an American feel responsible for betraying the Kurds just now, or was it Trump? Leaders start wars when they want them. The work makes clear that Germans were sick of war, and that having been convinced of it, they were trying to END THE WAR to come, to prevent WW3 for their children, and that is hard to condemn. You see WW1 just never ended, there was no closure. That is on the Allies for making such a terrible end to WW1, against American advice. It was also the seed of the Vietnam War. WW1 was NOT the war to end all wars, but the war to start new wars.
