actually. I was reading Catcher in The Rye. It was mentioned, so I thought I would give it a go

It's a memoir about a woman who lived in Africa in the early 1900's

Africa is like a completely different planet in a lot of ways, and that often makes it an excellent backdrop if the author is sharp and can convey a good mental image. I'll have to check "out of Africa" out.
