Although Strange Gifts was the originally title, and i might have started it thinking it was about Evanelle Franklin, i'm delighted with the shortened Garden Spells without the addition of *and Southern Belles.Just finished The Peach Keeper last night, and was absolutely delighted with the mention of Claire Waverly within those pages.
So far, i've read Sugar Queen, The Girl who Chased the Moon, Garden Spells, and The Peach Keeper. Which one should i read next as i excitedly anticipate First Frost?
The original title was Strange Gifts. It was changed to Garden Spells and Southern Belles, then shortened to Garden Spells. It is my favorite - looking forward to First Frost!!
Strange Gifts but Garden Spells is a much better choice. ;-) I am so looking forward to First Frost! ;-)
"Strange gifts" however descriptive of the Waverley's, not nearly as appropriate and better suited to the theme of the book and it's story. The tree is my favorite character.
I have read all of your books and am super excited for First Frost! The orginal title for Garden Spells was Strange Gifts.
Strange Gifts.I'm glad it was changed to Garden Spells - the title is what caught my attention in the bookstore!
Strange Gifts! I found Allen's books about 5 years ago, and she inspired me to become an author! I am so in love with her writing, her whimsy and voice! I would love to collect signed books from her!
Strange Gifts! I can't wait for the continuation of their story. Your books have all been my favorites the past few years.
The original title was "Strange Gifts". It was later changed to Southern Belles, and finally Garden Spells.
