Although Strange Gifts was the originally title, and i might have started it thinking it was about Evanelle Franklin, i'm delighted with the shortened Garden Spells without the addition of *and Southern Belles.Just finished The Peach Keeper last night, and was absolutely delighted with the mention of Claire Waverly within those pages.
So far, i've read Sugar Queen, The Girl who Chased the Moon, Garden Spells, and The Peach Keeper. Which one should i read next as i excitedly anticipate First Frost?

"Strange gifts" however descriptive of the Waverley's, not nearly as appropriate and better suited to the theme of the book and it's story. The tree is my favorite character.

Strange Gifts! I found Allen's books about 5 years ago, and she inspired me to become an author! I am so in love with her writing, her whimsy and voice! I would love to collect signed books from her!
