he looked confused for a few seconds that continued on to a minute, "why a dark forest?" he asked, not really seeing an interest in this for him. he also wasn't sure what else could make this place more homie

"c-crystal lakes!?" he said, he had only seen a crystal lake once before and loved it. "there are crystal lakes there?" he asked ((merry Christmas))
"crystal clear lakes are pretty good too" he said and put his finger on his chin to think for a moment. "sure, let's go visit this dark forest thing" he said with a few nods
he smirked, "she's really excited about this" he said to himself, he got up and ran after her, nit running at full sprint but still fast enough
he reached the exit and went from a run to a jog to walking as he got outside. he walked as he shifted into his dragon from and once he reached the edge of the cliff he jumped up into the air, throwing his wings wide open and flying
when she jumped out he wasn't expecting it and jolted to the side away from her, he lost his balance in the sky, forgetting to flap his wings after the jolt, and started falling to the ground
after she lifted him back into the sky from his fall he shook his head and retook his balance, "wow, well that just happened" he said looked around
once he was out of the daze he looked at her, "no no, it's cool, im just not a strong flyer" hr told her, "sometimes i forget to flap my wings and fall especially if im startled"
he let go her once he got his balance again in the sky, "thanks for the catch" he said to her, "now where's this dark forest place?" he asked her
he followed behind her looking around to see if he spotted any dark forests, he didn't know the difference between a normal forest and a dark one but that didn't mean he couldn't look for it
confused he flew around a bit more then few down next to her and shifted. "this is a village, nit a dark forest or crystal lake" he said looking around them. "why land here?" he asked
he looked at her and sighed, "alright then" he said and raised his hand to her for her to take
"Intel?" he said, "Intel on what?" he asked her
"um... okay" he said, not really sure he understood what she was talking about and why
he looked back into her eyes for a bit then closed his and sighed, he opened them back up and looked in her eyes again, "i trust you" he told her
he was slightly in surprise at what she did for w moment but was taken out of it when she started walking and dragging him along, "um... no problem" he said with a shrug and moved to keep up with her, now walking at her side.
((sorry, busy with work and stuff))Christopher followed behind her the entire time, letting her do her thing and not talking much. after a bit he did grow curious to see what all of this would do
he continued to follow behind right behind her some more, this time closer than an arms lengths, "do you do this kind of stuff often?" he asked her.
"okay, but i dont see how any of that would apply to helping our den our food or any of that" he said with a shrug
he sighed "so why don't you fill me in on it?" he asked and crossed his arms, still walking
he sighed again and continued walking, "fine fine" he said as he noticed the area around them getting darker as they went farther in
He looked around as they keep walking deeper in, the place getting darker and the wildlife around them starting to shift and get more deformed and creepy. "well i gotta say, when they called it a dark forest they weren't kidding" he said
he looked at her and noticed the change, since he didn't know anything about other dragons he didn't know if this was good or bad or normal or not so normal. he decided he wouldn't mention anything about it unless it started getting too crazy
he got a chill down his spine and nodded, "yeah, I'm ready for sure" he answered her
his eyes squinted a bit in a cautious way, to him this wasn't how she normally acted and it put him on edge. he did go and decided to trust her since she hasn't done anything bad to him yet and reached his hand for hers, as they touched a chill ran down his spine. "lover boy huh?" he said and chuckled, trying to ignore the creepy chill.
he let her pull him along as she moved, "alright alright, simmer down" he said trying not to trip over his feet
he stumped a bit after that and got control of himself again, once he did he looked around to find her but couldn't see her or anything, it was too dark and his eyes haven't adjusted yet. "hey, where did you go?" he called out
another chill ran down his spine and he sighed, he decided he would wonder a bit and started walking in a different direction from earlier.
he grunted when she tackled him to the ground, "ouch" he mumbled. he didn't know why but he chuckled and looked up to her the best he could, "hello" he replied as he used the situation to flip them both around so that he was on top pinning her instead of her pinning him. "having fun are we?" he asked
he smiling and his chuckling turned to laughter, "well i can say this actually is turning to be more fun than i originally thought i would" he said he said, looking down to her
he smiled, "so, i don't imagine you took me here to tackle me in a dark forest" he said, "so whats your plan or do i still have to be patient?" he asked
he leaned in slowly but stopped a few inches from her face, "you should have said so sooner" he said and got up, holding out his hand to help her up. "well princess? shall we be going?" he asked her in a teasing tone
"not true" he told her, taking her hand and helping her up, "we're married now so that makes you my princess, princess" he said sweetly with a smile
"huh? what about my words?" he asked confusingly as his face made a confused look.
"oh" he said and went quiet for a moment, he then smiled, "well you are my wife after all" he said and walked up and gave her a kiss on the forehead. "me being nice is expected now" he told her
he was a bit surprised she hugged him, but he adjusted to it and hugged her back comfortably. "no need to thank me" he replied with a smile
he stood there and let the hug go on for a good few minutes before he slowly pulled back a bit, "I'm glad we got to come here, way more fun than i would have ever guessed" he said
"that just means we're gonna have a fun day entirely" he said with a nod
he smiled back to her and then started walking, "come on, we still have to see that lake" he said and stopped realizing he had no idea where to look. "um... you can lead" he said with a nod.
"too much dark energy is in the air, if we were closer im sure i could but i can't right now" he replied sounding a bit disappointed in his own abilities.
he looked to her and smiled, "okay" he said and took her hand into his gently.
he concentrated hard to get any reaction to water in the area. he breathed calmly and smoothly and concentrated harder, after a few moments to a full minute his eyes opened and he pointed, "that way" he said happily
he nodded his head with a hint of a smile, he was getting excited to see this lake, he held onto her hand as he lead her through the dark forest. after a few minutes later they entered a clearing with a large lake in the center.
he smiled brightly, the biggest smile he had done in years. "it's magnificent" he said in almost a shout, walking closer and closer. he was still holding her hand and he didn't realize he was dragging Melody along too.
once he got to the waters edge he stopped and looked inside of it, clear water that sparkled as light reflected off all of the crystals at the bottom and sides of the lake.He decided now that he wanted to go swimming in it so let go of Melodys hand and started stripping, he enjoyed swimming in his human form a lot, sometimes more than his dragon from.
once he got done stripping, completely, he dived into the water without hesitation. swimming to the bottom and back up to the top all in one go happily
once he got back to the top he looked around and spotted Melody, "come on in the water is fantastic" he said aloud to her as he waved for her to come over and join him.
he swam up to the edge of land and continued watching her, "come on, it'll be more fun with you" he said
"so? it's swimming, how could you possibly spoil that?" he asked, he figured he'd ask once more and if she said no again he would leave her be.
