Thanks for your answer. I had figured it out shortly after posting the question. I had never created a shelf before & had to figure out how to do it! I just googled The Part-time Job and it is a short story which was published by The New Statesman in 2010 and republished after James's death in 2014 - as I have an account I can read it there, although mini books are often nice to have. There is a new massively long article about PD James on the CrimeReads website today, which is very interesting.

WARNING -THERE ARE SPOILERS about Dalgliesh's development as a character over the series, although I don't *think* there are any spoilers for the actual murders.

The article reveals why James only wrote two books about Cordelia Gray - she was upset by the TV adaptation once they started having episodes she hadn't written and felt she couldn't write any more about the character.

I liked Cordelia Gray a lot more than Dalgliesh, to be honest, although I'm warming to the series.

From around A Taste for Death. I really liked that and have enjoyed Original Sin, A Certain Justice, the one I'm currently reading, Death in Holy Orders. I wasn't too taken with Devices and Desires.
