"Well I'm going to make myself useful and gather up some firewood. It's gonnaget cold tonight, I just know it!" She walked into the woods in search of broken limbs and logs to start a fire.
Kaidan looked at the baby in his arms and then decided to find a place to set up camp.
A couple minutes later she brought out a handful of firewood. "Where do you want to put this...." She asked struggling, she dropped a log on her foot and held in a yelp.
Kaidan sighed and lifted her up, setting her down next to the little boy. He pulled off her shoe and then set it up on a log. He turned back to the wood and set up a fire. Using a lighter in his pocket to start it.
"Thank You..." She said and sighed. She picked up the baby and rocked him to sleep. "Later, you should tell me about yourself." She added. She took of her sweater and layer it on the ground to put the baby in. She got up and made a tent shelter thing with the log they got here on. "I guess we are sleeping with each other tonight."
"Sure. Tomorrow we need to get the baby some food." he said and smiled at her slightly. He sat by the fire and stoked it.
She grabbed the baby and put him in the shelter. "I remember me pulling my hand away..." She noted. She wanted to say she was sorry but It didn't feel right.
He didn't say anything, just stared into the flames that danced around the fire. He rubbed his forehead and pulled off his wet shirt. He then hung it out near the fire to dry.
She glanced over, distracted. She was freezing cold and thought she'd do the same. She walked behind the shelter and took off her clothes. And sat in the sunset to warm up. She had nothing left, a baby to take care of, and a stubborn, hot guy.
Kaidan sighed and rubbed his hands together to try and warm up happily.
She got up, forgetting she was bare and walked to the fire. The sun was down and this was a better place to warm up. She looked up at the stars and realized how pretty the clear sky was.
He didn't look at her and leaned back on his hands.
"Nothing is wrong other than the fact a plane crashed and we are in the middle of nowhere." He said sarcastically with a role of his bright eyes.
She got up and touched his arm. "Everything will be ok. It's not the end of the world. Someone will find us and we will go back to our lives, ok?" She replied.
((I had to eat! :p))"Sure whatever." He said and moved away from her touch, he turned his head to the tent as the baby started crying. "What are we going to call him? We can't just call him baby." Kaidan said, "What is your name?" He asked and glanced at her.
Danni knew he was sensative, she just knew it. She got up and comforted the baby back to sleep. She walked back behind the tent to gather her clothes and put them on. "I'm Danielle, but you can call me Danni." She paused, coming around the corner. "We can call him Alex, is it even a him?" She asked.
He parted his lips a moment before crawling back to the tent and the checking over the baby, also making sure he was not sick. He crawled back out, "It's a girl. We can still call her Alex though." He said and looked at her.The baby fell back to sleep, curled up in the corner.
"Sounds good....what's your name by the way?" Danni asked, she kinda liked him, his personality and cuteness. But he didn't seem to like her, I mean who would like me, she thought.
"Kaidan, but you can call me Kai." He said and leaned back his eyes closing. Kaidan moved an arm over his eyes and sighed.
Danni headed to the tent and needed to get some sleep. It had been dark for awhile. "I guess we are stuck together, Kai." She whispered to herself and snorted. She already had plans in the morning, get up before him, find some food, and make a system going for the next few days. She stopped thinking and dozed off.
Kaidan slept outside but woke up at the crack of dawn. Sighing he glanced into the tent and lifted up Alex as she cried.

((She could have, I never said anything about her. I only spoke of the baby. ^-^))

Danni had gotten up earlier than Kai had. She had a handfull of fruit and things to eat. Tomorrow she'd hunt for game. She came out of the forest and set the fruit on the ground.

Kaidan looked over the tent and he sighed when he realised she wasn't there any more. He shakes his head, did she have a death wish? Sighing he walked out with the still crying baby, what was he supposed to feed it?
Danni walked over with pieces of cut fruit on a big leaf. She fed the baby and she stopped crying.
He looked at her relieved, "She is going to need milk." Kai said softly and looked at Alex, he took her back and kissed her forehead. It was like adopting a child.
"Don't look at me," Danni said, "I don't have any milk if that's what your asking." She sighed....the baby wouldn't survive much longer if there was no milk to feed him.
"I wasn't asking that." He muttered and bobbed Alex up and down, whispering soothing things. "I'm going to look for something later, maybe a goat or something." He said and sighed.
"Haha, you ain't going to find a goat..." She laughed, "...and besides, wouldn't you think that would make the baby feel sick." She asked.
"Its still milk... There could be, there may be civilization." He said simply and sat down.
"Well, suit yourself..but I'm staying here, with the baby!" She said.
"I'll be back before it gets dark. I need to find something to eat or something..." She murmured.
"I have fruit and I'm hunting tomorrow." She said, aggravated that he might mess up her plans.
