SOLVED. Book about a plane crash in Nirvana [s]

Hi guys,

I've had great success with this board in the past and thought I'd try again. I am looking for a book about wealthy people on a plane. The plane crashes and they land in Nirvana. I remember reading this in one of those very old Reader's Digest books, so it may have been a short story or novella. No idea on who wrote it. I believe publish date may have been 50's or earlier.
