What's the best way to hold an event (book launch) online?

A giveaway is not the answer as one can't give away ebooks... I'd like to celebrate Mark's Day on 14.12.14 and the birth of The Mark of ManThe Mark of Man...
How do I do this properly - any ideas?
My first (physical) launch in September was a great success but it was only attended by a very local audience...
The Mark of Man seems to be reaching into the US and Australia far more than the UK, judging by online book sales...
So the official launch will be on 14.12.14 and I need your help/ suggestions as to how best to do this!
