Pogacean Bogdan | 40 comments Hi! If i want another edition to be added for a book that already exists on goodreads, in which section should I post?
The book I talk about exists on goodreads in english version, but I am reading it in romanian version, and the version released in Romania does not exist yet on goodreads.
Thanks!

At the very least, it should be made clear that it is a new edition of an existing book.

Pogacean Bogdan | 40 comments Thanks for your answers!

Since I have the book in front of me, I can easily give all the information needed for the new edition of the book to be added (The title, the ISBN, the number of pages, publisher name and publishind date etc...). BUT, will the librarian trust me to post them? I mean, if he needs proof how can I provide it? Even if I post links on some sites like the publisher site or other sites where you can find that book`s info, it will still be hard to check them because obviously, those sites will be in my native language (romanian) and the librarian won`t understand a thing.

The second question is, how can I provide the cover? should I give a link to a google photo of the cover, should I make my own photo of the cover and upload it? or is it another way?

Pogacean Bogdan | 40 comments thank you all for your comments!
I still have the question about the cover: if the book I want to add is the edition in romanian(my native language), where and how can i provide the image for the cover to be added? because usualy, the books that are translated and published in Romania have different cover image than the original english version.
thanks!

Melanie (mvalente89) | 2197 comments You can also link to the publisher's website showing the cover. It doesn't matter if the website is in a different language, a lot of browsers can auto-translate them to English.
