Now when I get home I'll read another short story and start on Of Mice and Men I'm also almost done listening to Jane Eyrein the car and hope to be able to finish before I get to the library on my way home tomorrow (which I think I will definately do) and then I'll get Belovedto listen to.

That sounds good, just added it to my TBR list! LOL
I love LaVyrle Spencer, she was my intro to romances and I haven't found one by her that I haven't liked yet...its a pity she retiredSue T wrote: "That does sounds good, I've added it as well."

Delicious Dee Challenge Addict wrote: "I sat down and realized today that I only have 12 books left to read (including the 3 for the 50 point challenge)... and I have 3 of those in progress..."Six weeks of reading time and less than 12 books to read?! You're a shoo-in!!
u can do it BJ...I know you are up there somewhere...lol!! of course, it helped that your pick it for me challenge worked for one of my categories
Dee and BJ, you are both doing very well. I've never seen anyone read as fast as the two of you do. You are both awesome!
Delicious Dee Challenge Addict wrote: "u can do it BJ...I know you are up there somewhere...lol!! of course, it helped that your pick it for me challenge worked for one of my categories"OK, I just counted up the books I still need to read, and it's twice as many as your 12. That's about one every two days, so it's doable if I ignore my monthly challenges - talk about the horns of a dilemma!
try fitting them into monthly challenge categories? I did this last month - I think 6 of my 10 categories over on RRRC fit these books; plus the pick it for me...i'm all for double-ing up
Delicious Dee Challenge Addict wrote: "try fitting them into monthly challenge categories? I cross-challenge galore! I did better at doubling up in September when all these tasks were undone. I was harboring a secret hope that something already read would fit into the 50-point challenge, but no such luck. So I'll just keep reading and see what happens!
I am in the Seasonal Reading Challenge, Reading With Style challenge and the Historical Fictionistas challenge and I love it when I can kill three challenge tasks with one book. :)
Finished Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame-Smith-decent read-and now I'm on Breaking Free by Saira Bronson for my next task. I'm reading about 6-7 hours a day at the moment which is better than normal!
Finished reading The Island of Dr. Moreau by H.G. Wells today.Just starting In Cold Blood by Truman Capote.
Lauren - i'm reading Goddess of the Sea right now and enjoyig it - but its def. not my favorite in the series...I think Goddess of the Rose is - have you read any of the others?Lauren wrote: "Almost done with Clockwork Angel for 15.10, then moving onto Goddess of the Seafor the same task."

I'm still reading Doctor Zhivago. It's really taken off now and is very good. I also started Run at Destruction: A True Fatal Love Triangle as my "lunch break" book. I won this in a Giveaway almost a year ago and feel really bad about not reading it before this. So far, it's an easy read with an interesting story.
I'm almost finished listening to The Burning Wire (9th in a series). I really enjoy the Lincoln Rhyme/Amelia Sachs stories.
Next, I'll listen to The Horse and His Boy for the Group Hug task.
I'm still reading The Passage which will take awhile, I've also got Kiss Me While I Sleep going for a "lighter" read.
I stop reading book "Women of the Silk" by Gail Tsukiyama, may be latter in the future I'll be read this book. Now I start read book"The Reading Group" by Elizabeth Noble.
