To Die For question

Didn't it bother anyone else how virtually no one showed any sympathy for Jimmy and the others? He committed murder, yes, but he was still just a young teen being used and manipulated into it. I personally feel that a life sentence is too much.

But at least his real-life counterpart is now out.
