Can I get a GOOD book rec ?

A book is GOOD if -

🚩It has a KickSassy, Badass Chick IN the FIRST person.

🚩 It does NOT have a Passive Male Counterpart. An EQUALLY powerful
if not more(view spoiler)[ Provided that the chick doesn't become a whiny-brat-ranting-complaining-about-how-she-didn't-want-him-to-objectify-her-but-would-just-lurve-to-be-his-sex-slave.You know NO INVITATION to the distant overrated cousin of PNR - Denial (hide spoiler)] Love Interest would be the best choice.

🚩 The chick is NOT a whiny-complaining-of-the-'big-bad-world'-usual-type-of-trash-found-on-so-called-UF-streets .
Aka It should not have a teenager attempting to comprehend the ABCs but a woman who knows her limits and capabilities and is the Boss of herself. This can have exceptions as long as the said gal in question is able to develop those abilities in the not-so-distant future. (Eg The Black Mage Series by Rachel E. Carter )

🚩Chick saves the world, involved in World Domination, Assassinations yada yada.. is a MUST.

🚩 A book can be better if a chick has a warped sense of honour with Regular participation in all (view spoiler)[ hell!! any (hide spoiler)] sorts of unscrupulous activites.

Have you read ‘Three Mages and a Margarita’ by Annette Marie? There are a few in the series: The Guild Codex: Spellbound Series. They can be a tiny bit silly at times, but definitely fit your criteria. They’re my guilty pleasures. ;)

Speaking of guilty pleasures, I just finished reading the ‘A Court of Thorns and Roses’ series by Sarah J. Maas and fell in LOVE with it. It’s not really “urban” fantasy, but still, I had to mention it. Definitely a badass female character that grows in power by each installment, and a male protagonist that is truly worthy of her badassery. (It’s also quite steamy, so do not think these are YA.”

I also just started reading “A Discovery of Witches” by Deborah Harknes. Not sure yet if it will truly meet all your criteria, but so far, it seems promising. Not much action yet, though.

Thanks, Emily. I have read 'Three Mages and a Margarita'. I liked the book but I just liked it. It was not much of a pageturner or rather not much of a Sequel-Interest-Instigator for me. So, I had left it at that.
Speaking about 'A Court of Thorns and Roses', I have read and liked the book previously (by skipping lots of parts). I think it was too long wrt the plot progressing speed for me, which is why I think I didn't proceed with the sequel.

I have read the first few books of the series. Gin was awesome. Her precision with assassinations was really sexy but the only downside was the Love Interest. Owen felt passive to me. Also, he wasn't EQUALLY powerful. So, I didn't enjoy their relationship. Much.

But books like these with an EQUALLY powerful Love Interest are HIGHLY Appreciated
