M.L. | 1129 comments I think a pirate, in a not yet published work. Although I need to work on my pirate-speak to be convincing. :)

Phillip Murrell | 427 comments My cover character, Votary! He/She has a sweet suit of comic book power armor.

M.L. | 1129 comments I love super powers! My pirate happens to be on probation so he can't do anything at the moment. But he does fly a skull and crossbones. :)

Phillip Murrell | 427 comments You can't go wrong with pirates.

B.A. A. Mealer | 975 comments Mine would be Kate when she is dressed as the White Queen in a living board Chess match. The story isn't published yet as it's still in first draft. She is in this wonderful old white gown from the 12th century Scotland. Her crown matches her husband's. It's a paranormal/speculative fiction type book that ended up being way too long and I'm not cutting it down into palatable chunks.

Dave Williams | 22 comments My main antagonist, whose name I won't mention (possible spoiler, at least from my pov). He's a sorcerer who seeks to take over the hero's kingdom, Sineria, and make it his own kingdom that he'll "protect".

Susana Imaginário (chronodendron) | 3 comments Many of my characters don't wear clothes (they're dryads) so I'd have to draw tree bark patterns on my skin instead. Silver birch maybe.

Roxanna López Like el Chupacabras, or perhaps like that genius girl born on the moon, Miss Kamden Díaz, with her thin, shimmery graphene/Mxene exoskeleton and her translucent skin.

Disclaimer: I didn't invented the legend of el Chupacabras, but as it originated in my country, the thing has graciously consented to appear in a couple of my stories. ;-)

Steve Janulin (shadow2f5) | 13 comments My book is a Sci-Fi timetravel Back to the Future type story. Most of my main characters are from the modern era which would make for a boring Halloween costume. If I had to choose? I would say Captain Sebastian Smythe. The 18th century British soldier whose mission is to hunt down the rest of my characters.

Sounds cool, and cheap KU is just around the corner with Black Friday!

Christopher Williams (thewrongwriter) | 29 comments If I could work a Stymphalian costume, I'd do that. Because I could prowl around and munch on people!

Well, it is trick-or-'treat'ing...

message 12: by Lina (new)

Lina Hansen No need to dress up anybody, one of my mysteries is set at Castle Frankenstein, during the Halloween celebrations. Enough people in costume already.
As far as my sucky witches are concerned, they prefer to wear jeans and would consider dressing up as naf I suspect.

Anne Schlea | 41 comments Runa, my valkyrie. Having her powers would be even better.

I'd go as Ben Starn. He pops up in several of my stories and the poor sap looks exactly like me, only he's a better dresser.
