Do you limit how many titles you request from one publisher? I currently have 4 from St. Martin's Press( publishing in Jan/Feb), & of course, I see another one( publishing next year) that I want to request. It made me wonder if someone looking would think, well this person has enough! I pretty much stick to reviewing about a month before pub. date, but I was curious if anyone ever got any feedback based on # of books you already have on your shelf.

I think it’s fine as long as you are keeping up with them and not overwhelming yourself. But specifically, no I’ve never received that sort of feedback. I typically get approved by the publishing houses that approve me and get declined by the ones that decline me. That’s as much feedback as I ever seem to get- that my stats aren’t really what they are looking for.
Thanks. Since it is October and it seems like a lot of people are doing 'spooky reads', NG is like a mysterious entity, that doesn't share a lot of information, until the reveal.....when you are either approved( yeah), or (gasp) declined! That tells you that I am on the spooky train! I've been reviewing for NG for a little over 2 years, & still stumble when a new question hits me! TY for this group!
