I had a book borrowed and downloaded but when I tried to listen on my commute this am - I had no books showing on my account. Home again tonight and it shows as borrowed again

IvanOpinion | 63 comments I have several problems with the RB Digital app, though not this one. I always listen to downloads.

Have you tried looking at your account on their website? I find the website less flakey. I just wonder if you might find your book still sitting there under Checked Out (assuming your loan period has not expired). In which case, you will know the problem is the app. If the book has gone, it probably isn't an app problem, so you may have to log a support request.

I do use RBDigital since my library discontinued using Hoopla for audiobooks (which makes me sad as Hoopla had a much larger selection). I always download the books and haven't had the problem you describe but I have noticed that when I am at home, the books do sometimes pause if the wifi is slow. But if I leave home (so there is no wifi at all), the book is there and I am able to play it. So it does seem possible that in the presence of wifi, the book is streaming when it should be playing from the download...

Dee (austhokie) | 1950 comments yeah it was weird - it worked this am just fine and i downloaded it friday night (saw the download numbers change) and then it redownloaded last night - oh wells

Stephanie (quiltsrme) | 143 comments Check all the settings. Restart your phone. If you still get it, contact your library. It's the only way they often know that patrons are having problems.
