This one came out Sept 26th, 2019, and is built around a series of letters family annihilator Christopher Watt wrote to the author. Apparently it's full of grisly details that didn't make it into the news.

"Cozy true crime" sounds like a whole new concept to me.
It may be a lot like that Esquire article I saw by Michael Finkel, a follow-up to his book about a similar Father of the Year candidate, Christian Longo. He commented on the irony that writing the book about Longo appears to have given Longo a new lease on life and more determination to fight his death sentence, where Finkel would be thrilled to pull the switch on the guy himself. I understand why after reading the article, which has far more horrific detail on the deaths of his family. For my money they're both a waste of protoplasm.
